like mail return fees and check balance fees every thing they can make up ,they let spectrum take almost 300 from my acct that I didn't owe,can't argue with them if the other person is worth more,I'm on s.s and they keep taking more every month,worst bank ever to exist ,run from them

I ordered Direct TV back in May and had to pay a 100 deposit. I however never got the equipment. I called and canceled it but they kept taking my money 2 payments of 84.99 and 1 payment of 99.99. I called Woodforest bank and was told to fill a depute and cancel the card. I did both and 4 days later the money was back in my account. Well, a month later those 3 payments were taking back out. I called Woodforest and the lady told me since Direct TV's information matches mine that they reversed the payments. I tried to tell her of course it does I wanted their serves but never got it. Direct TV is saying they reversed the payment but Woodforest is saying no that they (Woodforest) did. Now, I am suppose to take the loss of 269.97 because supposedly I can't dispute the reversal. I have the email that Direct TV sent saying my refund is on it's way, I have the canceled confirmation, the ticket number of the conversation, and ticket number for saying they will refund from Direct TV but Woodforest says it doesn't matter take it up with Direct TV. Direct TV said they refunded it and round and round I go. If this isn't fixed I am finding another bank. I have been dealing with this for 6 months.

Do not open a bank account here. they have the worst customer service. When you call the bank, no one knows anything you have to stay on hold for an hour. They are not helpful. They are not kind. When my mother passed away, they took all of the money from her bank account and wouldn’t give it to me, even though I had a letter from the lawyer. Shady shady shady.

Will be taking my business somewhere else bank is horrible. One minute they close at 7 then they close at 6 I drove all the way to the Woodforest on galleria blvd Charlotte NC from work to cash my check so I can feed my son it’s 5:59 the lady couldn’t even cash my check talking about we changed our hours from 7 to 6 because we are short staffed! I am going to close my account and go to another bank with more options and steady hours!!!!!! Do not mess with bank they are horrible in every way!!!

My account was hacked and funds were used there was an email added to my bank account without my know about and without my permission weird how an email got added to my bank account it had to be an inside job there's no other way

My mother in law who lived in Virginia passed away. After the funeral and settling her estate my husband and his sister recieved their inheritance checks. They tried to cash them at Chase (we are Texas account holders) and they said it would be a 5 day hold. We could not wait 5 days. We were covering her funeral costs and personally paid for travel and lodging for his sister and niece as well. 3 wks in a Holiday Inn Express is Expensive! We took the check into Woodforest and explained our situation and they pulled up our Texas account, called a supervisor and told us to deposit the checks. They will have a 24 hr hold but then the funds will be released. The representative spoke with the funeral home for us and everything worked out. I was impressed by the professionalism and the genuine care we were shown. My Pearland, Texas location always gives us that kind of sevice on a regular basis. Julio know our entire family by name. It's impressive to see that I can get that same level of service in any state. I sincerely appreciate that more than anything else.
