"Renewal not working and customer…"

Renewal not working and customer support ignored me for months! We have now lost our domain (through 21 years) to a chinese scammer site. And all company mail is now send to the other side off the world!
Speednames are in HUUUGE problems!

"The worst provider I have ever had…"

The worst provider I have ever had contact with.
Not reliable at all, completely unresponsive, they do not answer on any emails at all. They do not provide any support via telephone.
There is no easy way to cancel services that you bought at them, they will do whatever it takes to make it difficult. Be careful. Definitely scam.

"Speednames Contact ME for ticket 4801946 now"

Speednames first lost our credit card details for our autorenew, then didn't communicate that a domain expired and now hasn't responded through their ticketing system for 2 weeks.

"Incompetent and all the things everyone…"

Incompetent and all the things everyone else has already said...

Where do you start, I mean you think you've had your glitch and then they just keep coming!

I am in sheer disbelief at the total Lack of responsibility Speednames are taking for the issues they've caused customers, possibly the worst system migration since a well known UK bank in 2018. Adding to this the lack of an apology from anyone in the service team regarding the loss of billing information, their ability to maintain and manage 3rd party registrations for International TLD's and even the straightforward updating of name servers.

You log in one day and discover you don't have any domains, billing or contact information and you're casually told, oh yeah that's the because it's in a queue to be migrated to our new, truly awful by the way, portal.

I'm now left having to contact overseas registrars for which the local presence was arranged via Speednames, but due to their *migraine'tion appear to have lost the ability to maintain these relationships.

*migraine'tion - The outcome of a poorly planned system migration resulting in sequential severe headaches, the only known cure is moving to another registrar.

Cheers Speednames, hope you're having a belter.

Skandaløst dårlig kundeservice!
Vi har tidligere været meget tilfredse kunder hos Speednames, og har igennem de seneste år samlet alle vores domæner hos dem. Det skulle vise sig, at blive den dårligste beslutning vi nogensinde har taget, da Speednames i slutningen af 2017/starten af 2018 omlagde deres system og derfra sløjfede al kundeservice.

Jeg har siden januar 2018 forsøgt, at få flyttet en håndfuld domæner til et søsterselskab, alt var egentligt godkendt og sat til portering, men i forbindelse med deres nye system gik det i hårdknude, og her et år efter er det stadigvæk ikke lykkedes at få disse domæner flyttet. Der er ganske enkelt ingen svar fra hverken support eller fakturering, trods mange mange mange henvendelser.

Vi oplevede det samme hen over foråret 2018, hvor vi blev dobbeltfaktureret for 2 domæner. Det tog intet mindre end 12 uger og en massiv mail-/telefonkorrespondance at få krediteret dobbeltfaktureringen.

Nu har vi endelig fået nok, og forsøger at flytte alle vores domæner til anden udbyder, men igen er supporten fra Speednames skandaløst dårlig. AUTH koder kan ikke genereres og fremsendes, automatisk fornyelse af disse domæner kan ikke deaktiveres og kundeservice svarer ganske enkelt ikke. Vi kan ikke komme derfra!

Næste trin bliver desværre, at vi må gå via vores advokat, men det virker bare grotesk, at en virksomhed som havde så godt styr på det, og hvor vi var så tilfredse med at være, har vendt totalt på en tallerken med deres nye system og nye struktur, og har smadret et rigtigt godt produkt, og gjort livet så surt for deres trofaste kunder.

Min helt klare anbefaling er: HOLD JER LANGT VÆK FRA SPEEDNAMES! I kommer formodentligt aldrig derfra igen!

"The most incompetent hosting company I…"

The most incompetent hosting company I have come across. Together with their sister company easily.uk unbelievably bad service. Takes days to get an answer. Most of the time its not right or does not deal with the problem. I am still trying to get them to move my domain name away, and access to my emails is very difficult. New "improved"platform is a waste of time. Forgot to transfer my email package and account information. After 4 weeks still not able to provide me with new parameters to set up outlook or apple mail.
Avoid at all costs if you can

"Fraudulent or incapable of the most simple tasks"

I came here to voice my experience with Speednames (part of NetNames), but the reviews in here says it all. I have spent more than 9 months trying to gain access to my account and domain, but the "technicians" are unable to provide me with my username.

This company provides less customer service than a temp in a discount store

"An update for what it's worth"

An update for what it's worth. The clowns have at least paid up although no apology or explanation of the events or how secure personal data is.
So guys, go ahead, raise your complaints and take them to court for failing to provide a service and unauthorised taking of money from your accounts. You'll win they'll pay and eventually the imbeciles might just get the message.


I have also reported them to the ICO for suspected data breaches.
