Burde nok have tjekket på trustpilot inden jeg bookede rejsen, men som mange andre er vi også blevet snydt.
Havde booket 2 gratis overnatninger i Abu Dhabi, men da vi kom frem kunne hotellet ikke finde reservationen.
De ringede direkte til Etihad så jeg kunne tale med dem. Iflg Etihad var der sket en fejl, der var ikke flere ledige værelser og de kunne ikke hjælpe.
Rent scam for at få de rejsende til selv at betale, for der var masser af ledige værelser på hotellet.
ALDRIG brug stop-over. Det er SNYD og BEDRAG

"Nie wieder! "

Leider absolut schlechte Erfahrung gemacht, Flug nach Thailand mit 2 Tagen Stopover in Abu Dhabi gebucht, bei dem die Übernachtung im 4 Sterne Hotel von Etihad übernommen wird. So zumindest wurde damit geworben, sodass wir überhaupt die 2 Tage Stopover ausgewählt haben. Eine Woche vor dem Abflug bekommen wir eine Email, dass die Übernachtung nicht übernommen wird, da die Hotels mit denen sie zusammen arbeiten voll sind. Anruf beim Kundenservice ergab überhaupt nichts, nur dass Angebot, dass wir für 2000 Euro umbuchen könnten und ansonsten die Info, dass Etihad leider nichts daran ändern kann. Unglaublich, so schlechten Service habe ich selten erlebt. Nie wieder!!!!

We had a wonderful experience with Etihad Airways on our journey from Manchester to Phuket via Abu Dhabi and back. The service was excellent, and the staff were highly professional throughout the trip. However, we were disappointed by some fellow passengers who were excessively loud during the return flight from Abu Dhabi to Manchester. This was particularly disruptive in the Business class section, which is meant to offer a more peaceful environment. I believe sharing this feedback with the airline could help enhance the experience for future travelers. Thank you for taking the time to read my review.

De sælger billetter til langtursrejser (Over 12 timer), hvor der ikke er indtjekket kuffet med i prisen: Jeg har aldrig oplevet at nogen ikke har kuffert med!
Når så man skal betale ekstra for en kuffert, så koster denne næsten det samme som rejsen - VILDT.
Så ALDRIG mere Etihad Airways.

Stopover Abu Dhabi voor vlucht naar Bangkok. Beloven 2 gratis nachten in een hotel, kies hotel uit lijst en blijft in progress staan. Daar 100x voor gebeld en werd maar gerust gesteld dat de bevestiging vanzelf komt. Week voor vertrek een mail gehad dat we niet in aanmerking komen voor de actie vanwege black out dates die ieder moment kan tonen?!! We hadden 2 opties: gelijk doorvliegen voor een prijs van nog eens €2500++ of nog even te wachten op de stopover team wat hun oplossing hiervoor is maar ze kunnen niet garanderen dat we alsnog een hotel van hun krijgen. Toont veel empathie maar komt niet met een goede oplossing en zeker niet met verantwoordelijkheid voor de fouten die hun hebben gemaakt. Uiteindelijk zelf hotel moeten boeken op eigen kosten en heeft heel veel geld en stress gekost!! Nooit meer Etihad. Mensen niet boeken! TRAP NIET IN DE STOPOVER DEALS! Schande voor dit bedrijf!

I booked for my girlfriend from Nairobi to Frankfurt. The website of the booking says that 18 kilo bagguage is included. To my astonish they told her at the airport that she must pay extra and charged her 488,63 € for the extra baggage. I couldn´t belive my eyes. They refer to the main website and tell that only 7 Kilos are included. No more Etihad ...

Karima the manager and Abed el haddi cabin crew were continuously talking behind near the toilet I warned them thrice
They still continued to talk with no respect to sleep passengers
I’ll definitely take this up to higher authorities, and make sure they don’t show up this attitude ever again (EYO65)

"Suitcase Damage"

I am deeply disappointed with my experience. I paid £95 for a suitcase at the airport, only to be offered a measly USD 50 in reimbursement, which is less than half of what I paid. To make matters worse, Etihad's managers at the airport assured me that I would receive full reimbursement, yet they have failed to honor that promise. It has taken two months to receive such an inadequate offer, which only adds to the frustration. It’s incredibly disappointing to waste so much time trying to resolve an issue with an airline that cannot uphold its responsibilities. The damage to my luggage and the failure to provide a fair reimbursement shows a clear disregard for customer satisfaction. At this point, it feels like Etihad's services are nothing more than a scam. Would not recommend.

"Act against Policy in an attempt to exploit customers "

I have booked a flight to Bahrain from South Africa on the Etihad website. Etihad, however, spelled my surname incorrectly. According to their website, if there are more than 3 characters incorrect, the change is FREE OF CHARGE. However, when I contacted them they stated that, since they placed me on a connecting flight with Gulf Airlines from Abu Dabi to Bahrain I need to pay a 800 dollars fine which is, not only against Etihad and Gulf Airlines policy but was almost more than my ticket. I ended up having to rebook my flights and now travel for more than 30 hours. On top of this, I have lost my bag and have been in Bahrain for over a week with no clothes. I am highly dissatisfied and will not recommend Etihad to anyone. They also act against their own policies and to date cannot show me any policy stating that the price for changing 1 letter in your surname costs 800 dollars. Do not fly with Etihad!!!
