"very poor customer service"

overall my experience was good unless i had to discuss a few topic with the customer service.
1- I asked about the missing miles a few times, they didn't conclude.
2- They have granted compensation for media system failure but that was not added to our account.
3- They stop responding my queries.

"Volo Roma Manila con Etihad"

Prenoto con etihad un volo da Roma a manila con scalo ad abu Dhabi. Mi arriva una mail dove mi dicono che la tratta da fiumicino ad abu Dhabi verrà gestita da una sorta di ryainair spagnola (uno schifo di aereo del 1900) arrivi ad abu Dhabi e scopri che con lo stesso aereo dovrai fare altre 8 ore per Manila.. un aereo piccolo, scomodo, con monitor nemmeno funzionanti. Non voleró mai più con etihad. Un vero schifo. Pessimi

Simpatica compagnia Ethiad: può sorprenderti noleggiando un volo Wamos Air da Abu Dhabi per Roma (6 ore e mezza) e - senza minimamente neppure avvisare - farti accomodare su una scatola per sardine volante dove praticamente nessuno dei servizi di intrattenimento previsti (e pagati) è presente. "Lack of Compassion in Refund Process"

I have had an extremely frustrating experience trying to get a refund for my flight, which I had to cancel due to my father’s passing. According to the ticket conditions, I am entitled to a full refund.

I submitted all the required documents, including my father’s death certificate, our birth certificates, his passport, my passports, and hospital death reports. However, the airline has refused to process my refund due to a minor spelling difference (one letter) in our surname between the birth certificates and the death certificate.

The issue stems from a common transliteration mistake when converting Arabic names to English. When my father received his passport from a Western country, his Arabic surname was misspelled (using 'I' instead of 'Y'). However, all Arabic documents and his Arabic passport clearly confirm that he is my father.

I have spoken with customer service multiple times, and they acknowledged that my documents prove our relationship. The representatives I spoke to were understanding and agreed that the Arabic documents confirm everything. However, it appears that when my case is reviewed internally, non-Arabic-speaking staff are rejecting it based on the minor spelling difference.

This has been an incredibly distressing and disappointing experience, especially given the circumstances. As a frequent flyer who regularly takes long-haul flights, including routes such as London to Auckland, I expect a more reasonable and compassionate approach from the airline.

I hope the airline can review this case with more sensitivity and common sense. I would greatly appreciate any assistance in resolving this matter.

"I recentlVery disappointing experience!y flew with Etihad Business…"

I recently flew with Etihad Business Class to Chennai (India) from Toronto, and I must say, it was one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve had. From the moment I boarded, the cabin crew seemed uninterested and unhelpful. They barely acknowledged passengers, and when I asked for assistance, I was met with cold and dismissive responses. It felt like they just wanted to get through the flight with minimal effort.

As for the food, it was downright inedible. The meal was cold, and lacked any real flavor. The portion size was ridiculously small, and the quality was no better than a microwaved frozen meal. To make matters worse, when I asked for an alternative, I was told there were no other options available.

For the price I paid for this flight, I expected at least decent service and edible food, but this airline failed on both fronts. I will think twice before booking with them again. If you value good service and decent meals, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.

"Avoid al ALL cost"

Avoid al ALL cost. Very poor and unsympathetic customer service. I made a claim for compensation and they refused it outright as it was deemed not their fault.
Last November we missed our connecting flight from Abu Dhabi to India because the flight from London Heathrow was late due to flight crew being late.
Fair enough they gave us hotel accommodation and meals until the next flight, which was 24hr later. The hassle we had gone through was unbelievable. Leave all our duty free at the transit desk and then collect next day. Loosing a day of our planned holiday and the stress of going through immigration and customs three times.

Ho prenotato un volo Ethiad a dicembre e da pochi li giorni ho appurato che hanno cambiato aeromibile Etihad Co aeromibile Wamos senza avvertire e senza compensazione economica(essendo Wamos una compagnia low-cost ed Etihad compagnia di bandiera. Avendo prenotato attraverso agenzia Etihad dice che agenzia sapeva ma miei documenti dicono che mio volo è EY. Non ho parole. Si sceglie 1 volo per tanti motivi ed essere scaricati su volo low cost non desiderato non è giusto. Non volerò mai più con Etihad

"Absolut inkompetent."

Bei unserer Urlaubsreise saßen wir in Abu Dhabi 13 Stunden fest, da das Gate, dass am Flugticket stand, ohne Information an uns gewechselt wurde. Bei der Umbuchung auf den nächsten möglichen Flug wurden wir 4 Stunden im Ungewissen gelassen, ob die Umbuchung überhaupt funktioniert. Als Draufgabe wurde bei dieser Umbuchung unwissentlich von der Fluglinie unser Retourflug gelöscht, worauf wir in Male 2 Stunden Diskussion hatten, um endlich den (bezahlten) Flug antreten zu können. Die Sitzplatzreservierungen waren natürlich auch weg, obwohl wir für alle Flüge welche gebucht und bezahlt hatten. Für den Heimflug wurden uns gnädigerweise 3 Einzelsitze gebucht, was bei einer Familie mit Kind natürlich sehr toll ist. Der Versuch, die Plätze nebeneinander zu bekommen, scheiterte mit einer unhöflichen Mitarbeiterin, mit den Worten "wir können ja versuchen, die Beschwerde im Office abzugeben, um vielleicht das Geld für die Sitzplatzreservierungen zurückzubekommen". Wir können vor dieser Fluglinie nur warnen.
