"This is the second cover we have…"

This is the second cover we have ordered for our T@b 320 caravan . The first had lasted from 2013 until this year and had done a good job of keeping the van clean . I ordered a new cover and when we fitted it it was clearly not the right size this time. I emailed the company with photo's and they arranged collection . I have now received a replacement which fits and we are now happy . Mistakes can happen but what is important is the way these are dealt with and I can only say this was excellent service with no quibbling . I have no hesitation in recommending the company and product .

"Defacing caraven"

Recently ordered a towing jacket but when it arrived, discovered that in order for the cover to stay in place, it required me to deface my caravan but sticking...yes you read right, sticking permanently two white disc to the front of my van, which I wasn't prepared to do. I returned the item for a refund (at my cost Protec wouldn't pay) but would never have bought it in the first place, if a warning had been given, at the point of selecting make and model of caravan. So Coachman owners be warned.

These people make great covers but when it goes wrong the customer service is appalling. I ordered one at the NEC in November 2017 and it arrived about 3 months later. I ordered a second one at the NEC in November 2018 and in May 2019 I still haven't had it. Order confirmation in November 2018 showed wrong colour. Received a request for pictures of the car in January 2019 and sent these by return. No response so called in March 2019 and was told it would be with me "next week". Called again about 2 weeks later and told again it would be with me "next week". These people make promises they cannot keep just to fob customers off. Eventually received email at 07.06 on 11 April saying it had been "sent to sewing", at 15.31 received further email saying it had been "sent to cutting". Can they sew it before cutting, I don't think so. I will not deal with these people again, there are others out there who would like my business and have an equally good product

After a hiccup attempting to fit the cover it all went well and does fit.
However it was necessary to cut three holes to accommodate the towing eyes and the electric cable. Not sure how long the fabric will last because of course these holes have raw edges - will they fray.
Overall it’s a good product. The hooks are not all fixed uniformly but that does not prevent it being secure.
The main advantage is it does what it is required to do - protecting the vehicle paintwork.

Whilst it's always good to see 5 star reviews of a product and many satisfied customers, it's how a company deals with customers when things don't go as well as expected that really count. I can honestly say that my experience with Protec Covers has proved to me that this company really does value their customers and, despite initial "failures", they were ultimately able to provide me with a custom cover that fitted my caravan with its fixed Omnistor awning. Would recommend.

Repeat customer - 4 items ordered in total. The last two items have been custom made to fit a new caravan and fit very well, providing excellent protection (winter cover and towing cover). I hope I won't change the caravan for a good few years now, but if I do, I'll be buying another set of Protec covers. I always recommend them on social media as well - no axe to grind, no 'influencer', just a happy customer.

Excellent service. We were kept updated of progress regularly and the cover was delivered earlier than promised. The cover is a perfect fit and very easy to use. Have already had a first trip with the cover and caravan arrived at the destination with no road grime. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to protect their caravan. Thank you Protec.

I ordered a cover for my Bentley Continental Flying Spur at the NEC Classic show last autumn. It fits so snugly that I have not even had to put the securing straps under the car in high winds. It definitely pays for itself in preserving the car from the worst of the weather as it has to stand outside.

Took deliver of a cover and noticed a problem spoke to protec . As I live local dropped the cover in to them . Problem sorted and phone call to collect very quickly. Very efficient ,quick and polite service a pleasure to deal with . Would recommend to all.
