"Worst experience ever"

Worst experience ever. I was so sick looking for an antibiotic.Filled out the form accordingly with all the symptoms as follows head, congestion, ear, pain, sore throat, etc. First prescribed a nose spray. Called back, begging for an antibiotic, then prescribed benzo pills for a cough. I wanted my $63 back. This felt like a scam!!! DON’t do it

"They are a SCAM!!"

They are a SCAM!!! BCBS uses them and they are the WORST. I honestly do not think they are real doctors. It feels like they are reading from a script and treat the patient like an idiot by suggesting things like resting and drinking fluid - like we’ve never heard of basic treatments. My son’s illness was way past basic care, or we would not have been calling. My adult son was so sick that he couldn’t speak without coughing. He was having obvious respiratory infection symptoms, and they gave him a prescription for Tylenol and cough medicine. My son made another appointment, and added me to the call. My son wanted me to help answer questions, because he was coughing so hard. The “doctor” barely spoke English and completely dismissed my son’s need to be treated for a serious respiratory infection. I’m not sure he spoke English well enough to understand what we were saying. The customer service representatives barely speak English either. We needed an antibiotic called into the 24 hour pharmacy. We were using MDLIVE, because it is supposedly a 24/7 service, and urgent care was closed. Going to the ER would cost a $950 co-pay with my sons insurance, so we were hoping to get treatment through the this over the phone doctor service included with BCBS. MDLIVE should be investigated for malpractice. I’m disgusted with their so called “doctors”, and their lack of medical knowledge.

"Waited on the phone for more than an hour"

Waited on the phone for more than an hour to finely schedule the appointment. Waited another 30 minutes for the doctor's call. And in two minutes was told that they couldn't do anything when I had asked if they could handle my circumstance in the first 10 minutes. They charged for the two minute phone call and I wasted even more time requesting a refund that I did not receive. There agents speak so technically you don't understand what's happening. If I could give lower than 1 star I would.

"SCAM!!!"

Called to have a prescription refilled. "Doctor" who answered spoke no English and hung up on me. That call cost $89 and no refill. SCAM!!!

"MDLive experience"

Dr Jennifer Kam called 50 minutes later than meeting time. I assumed it was cancelled after 30 minutes. Would not suggest MDLive as this was my second time using.

"Dual Eligible Beware"

I have been using MDLive for a couple of years. I have the same insurance I have always had. This year they changed my insurance in their system and are requiring me to pay a copay before I book the appointment. I am dual eligible so my Medicaid pays the copay. They say they cannot file the Medicaid because they can only file with one insurance company.

"Called to speak to a doctor"

Called to speak to a doctor. They could not verify my insurance but it was my insurance that connected me to them. Once I gave them a credit card number I spoke to a doctor he called in a prescription which got called in wrong. Pharmacy had me call back and they could find no verification of my account at all. Meanwhile my wife is sick waiting for medication took all morning to resolve. Horrible system

"No real prescriptions whatsoever "

I don’t think they have real doctors on the calls. They just follow what the computer says. The “doctor” that talked to me didn’t look at the picture I sent neither payed attention to what I was telling her, I had to repeat several times my symptoms. You don’t get any real medication for a throat infection (bacterial) they recommend drinking liquids, rest, and over the counter medications, that you can get without paying for a consultation. For the reviews I can see their “standard” care is wait for ten days until you are really sick and go to your primary physician. What is the point of calling them then? I’m so disappointed that Cigna uses this service. I would give zero stars if I could.

"Horrible service"

Horrible service! I was sick and made an appointment the night before and the next morning I’m sitting there waiting to only get a message stating the doctor declined. Then I called to make another appointmen, waiting an hour and nothing. I called back, they had the wrong number, fixed it and made another appointment… nothing. It took a total of five times to finally get an appointment, they still had the wrong number. The doctor was rude, over talked me and cut me short. She didn’t want the appointment.
MDLIVE, I will never book another appointment with y’all again. It’s always an issue when I do. Done, done, done. This is what happens when people get bad experience, they act like I am.

"TERRIBLE experience"

TERRIBLE experience! I have a sinus infection, which I get once a year. I filled out the form as I always do. The response back was to take ibuprofen decongestant and nasal spray. These are things I have been doing for days. It is to the point where the pain is in my teeth and around my eye. There is no way to contact the Dr. Just forked over $63 to be told to keep doing what's not working and check back in 10 days if I'm not better. TERRIBLE!!!!
