I ordered a used computer that unfortunately had a damaged GPU on receipt. Although it was a frustrating experience overall, Adorama's customer support worked with me in trying to address the problem and create a fair outcome in a way that I really appreciate.

"Wrong Lens "

Ordered a lens and paid for expedited shipping due to mine having some problems. I had an event coming up but they sent me the wrong lens. I called and they said to send pictures, and waited for their "investigation". It's extremely frustrating since I had to rush to find another lens, and waited around a week for a "solution" which was to send me a worse quality lens. It's still not fully resolved but my faith in Adorama as a company is lost. I do understand the business side but what could have been a lifesaving order has turned into a lot of wasted time.

Adorama is always giving me a great experience. The CSRs are always happy to help and really know their stuff. They're able to find information for me when things get really specific. The package on my orders are always completely secure and well thought out. I've only had one defective item (a battery) with 20+ orders with Adorama. The return process was really easy and the replacement was shipped out the same day they received the return. Shipping is ALWAYS fast. They see my order, I get an update when it's been shipped, and it's usually here within a couple days. Their 2-day shipping is really, really awesome and helpful as a "need it when I order it" kind of guy.

After I tried to order a few more products from them in the last week, I constated how unreliable and disappointing they are.

Shifting shipping dates, unresponsive customer service... I really regret having relied on them, specially considering that this time, I needed them to fulfill the orders on time.

I'll just stick to BH.

It wasn't that bad, after all. Adorama isn't the best store, but it beats receiving used products as new when ordering from Amazon.

Old review (2 stars):

Terrible experience. Ordered an expensive item, was supposed to be drop-shipped, but supposedly in stock. I was charged. Then, a couple days later, the item was listed as back-ordered. Tried to cancel it. It was a mess.

They should ditch the drop-shipping, or at least be much more able to deal with the manufacturers' logistics, if they don't want to scare customers away. For one, I don't think I'll use Adorama again.

I purchased the wrong item and returned it for the correct (exchange) item, which cost more. I n have yet to receive an email confirming my return, nor an email confirming the exchange item is on its way.
