"Two words Steve Marks"

Two words Steve Marks, I went through a lot and even almost got scammed by another company. Steve stayed with me the whole time. He set everything up and gave me the best price by far. Also when I was on a plane and I have a breath machine in my car he coordinated with the driver and my niece to make sure all was taken care of as I was on a flight. It was a nice breath of fresh air when a lot of people were scamming. He actually cared and helped, he went above and beyond by making sure the pickup between my niece and the driver went smooth on his day off. I would recommend this company through this Mr. Steve Marks even to my mother. Well I just saying smile Mr. Steve and thank you for all your help hundreds under everyone else and actually delivered. Well waiting on the deliver he is even still on helping with that for I start a new job.

"Horrible Experience"

Horrible Experience – Dishonest and Unprofessional!

I had an awful experience with American Haul LLC, and I strongly advise against using them for car transport. My initial call with the sales rep went smoothly, and everything seemed fine—until the dispatch manager, Denver Alfonso, got involved. That’s when everything went downhill.

Denver was completely incompetent and unprofessional. He continuously lied throughout the process, from changing the price after the original agreement to falsely claiming they didn’t have the correct vehicle type—despite clear documentation in both pictures and text messages with their own sales team.

Communication was terrible, delays were endless, and they took zero accountability for their mistakes. This company is dishonest and unreliable. Thank god for me they sent a driver who they gave wrong info to and they ended up canceling the transport. So i then canceled with AmericanHaul as the lies they told the driver they hired were just to far. Told him he was picking up a dodge when he was picking up a vintage Chevy camper van. Do yourself a favor and find a reputable transporter instead! Beware beware beware

"I would never use American Haul again"

I would never use American Haul again. I had to relocate from Virginia to North Carolina. I dealt with a guy called Lex Tyler, I am not sure if that is real name since he has what I believe is an Indian accent. He quoted me $220.00 to ship my car from Virginia to North Carolina; he asked me to make an initial payment of $100.00 and then pay the remaining $120.00 upon car delivery in Raleigh. He was going to have my car picked up on a Saturday and deliver it on the following Sunday. After paying him $100.00 and with one day left to pick up my car, he called me to tell me that the shipping company is asking for more money if I wanted my car delivered on the following day, he now told me that I had to pay $490.00 in total. Desperate to have my car moved before I left Virginia on that Saturday and get it delivered on the following Sunday so I could avoid car rental, I agreed to the $490.00. He told me to pay $140.00 in addition to the $100.00 I already paid because the company he was going to use to ship my car wanted to get paid $140.00 before they could pick.

On the Saturday when my car was being picked up, I told the pick up company that I would arrive in Raleigh the following day to receive my car; the driver told me that he does not work on Sunday and that he had told Tyler that my car would not be delivered until Monday at the earliest. The driver also told me that Tyler was paying him only $250.00. I called Tyler out of desperation; he told me he was going to call the driver to make sure my car was delivered on Sunday. Anyway, my car was not delivered on Sunday. As of this writing, Tyler has not yet paid the company that transported my car even though I have paid him. He told the shipping company to contact me and have me pay them. I did not have a contract with the shipping company, I had a contract with American Haul.

There may be other people at American Haul who are honest, but Lex Tyler, is a scammer, a cheat and a fraudster.

Please don't do business with this guy anymore.

One other thing I find strange with American Haul is, there is no main phone number to call and lodge a complaint. I would think, this company would have a main customer service phone number that you can call and report someone like Tyler.

I would never go to this company if you want your livehood. They overcharged me, lied to me and only want money. They themselves admiteeed this is fruad. I wouldn’t trust them to ship your vehicle.

"Scammers"

Scammers. Supposed to pick up my car then day after day something keeps happening. The “driver” sends me a picture of an old semi with no sleeper and a fully loaded flatbed trailer that’s bent in half. That’s their excuse for not picking up my car today. And when I call the number texting me it’s a different guy that has no idea what I’m taking about. That’s not the truck and trailer that ships a car from New Hampshire to Florida. Only an idiot would believe that, not to mention I’m a truck driver and you’d never ship a car for $520 for 1500 miles on a flatbed. And again no sleeper.. like come on. These people are idiots. Never give a company a deposit before they pick up your car. SCAM
