Received the wrong item.

Bought nappy pants, received 60L bin. Now we have to print their return labels, drive out to the post office, and while doing all these, I may have to pay for "further postage and handling costs". Furthermore, my child doesn't have his nappies (that's why we bought it, duh), and we have to wait over the weekend to get a new set to be delivered.

Ridiculous service. No apology. No compensations.

I ordered a set of cutlery - I received a pair of shoes.

I advised Catch. I then received a templated response stating that Il have to print their return label and then go to Australia Post to return the item then once they have received it, takes about 10 business days, I may be held responsible for further expenses as well. If the item I ordered is no longer available, they'll give me a refund.

This could have all been avoided if they just sent me the correct item. I chose Catch because of convenience. But I am now having to go through all these hoops because they made a mistake.

Mistakes do happen but how about they check the warehouse CCTV, confirm they made a mistake, send me a return label / courier to collect the instead instead of having me find a printer to print the label and then go to Australia Post and once that's been done - send me the actual item instead of another '10 Business Days'.

This whole process was extremely easy. I had no idea mattresses were delivered in this manner. It can very tightly rolled and you need to be careful unpacking it as it can spring open with force as we found out. The mattress is fabulous. Great support.

Experience is only as good as the seller since catch.com.au is really just a storefront for some rather dodgy online shops. Be careful! DailyAusBargains is one of their seller and, in addition to being unreliable, they are also utterly unapologetic and rude.

On Friday 26th July 2024 I purchased a Samsung ViewFinity S80UA 27" 4K UHD USB-C 90W Business Monitor - IPS Panel for $281.07 with postage of $10 so I could use it in the Dell Optiplex 9020 SFF Desktop.
