"Excellent service!!"

Excellent service!!

I ordered 10 bulbs from LightRabbit last year. A few of them failed after 6 months, and a few more have now failed after about 18months, but both times LightRabbit have issued replacements immediately, no questions asked. Can't say fairer than that!

"Bad Customer Service"

Bad Customer Service. I have placed 7 orders with LightRabbit over the past 12 months with no problems. This week I bought 12 LightWell 4 watt dimmable B22 filament bulbs from LightRabbit. The first one I fitted caused the circuit breaker to trip, and two more of the twelve did not work. I emailed LightRabbit to ask for replacements and at first their response was to deny warrantee claiming "you must have used the wrong kind of dimmer". I pointed out the same dimmer had worked for years with the previous LEDs and the new ones had immediately tripped the breaker. I didnt expect to have an argument over £3 globes. Very poor attitude LightRabbit!

"Website is Misleading that the LED Lights have a five year Warantee"

Very Poor Customer Service. I purchased some G9 Led bulbs in September 2013. Since then the bulbs have burned out a number of occasions. The website clearly states that there is a 5 year warrantee. However when I emailed requesting a bulb be replaced after burning out yet again. I was told that that according to the terms and conditions only a two year warrantee is offered ??????????????

"Shocking bad service"

Shocking bad service. I# would have liked to give this company 0 stars had this been an option. There was a long delay in the delivery of my order. When I rang up to enquire the girl on the phone was unhelpful. On two occasions I did not receive call backs as promised. When I phoned again I cancelled my order and on this occasion the girl was rude and sarcastic. I will never feel with this company again.

"LED light panel"

Ordered LED light panel on 9th June. After 3 weeks with no dispatch notification I cantacted them so see what the problem was. I was told that the original order must have gone missing and they will immediately dispatch a replacement.

A week later No panel so I chased again. This time to be told they had never been sent any from the manufacturer and it takes a long time to check everything. 4 weeks? After being told it had been dispatched twice.

I get things go wrong and the judge of good service is how things are put right when they do. But to tell me they had dispatched a replacement when they hadn't and then try to justify it all is too much.

"Worst online trader I have ever come across"

I wish I had read the reviews before purchase. They claim to refund with no problem if you change your mind. Absolutely untrue. The items I bought didn't suit my fittings so I initiated a return. Then read the Google reviews and discovered they all reported the retailer tried to get out of refunds by claiming it never arrived, that the customer had sent it to the wrong address in spite of having tracking info showing signed for. I am having precisely the same experience. I followed the instructions to the letter and kept all evidence. Heard no more so chased and was told it had not arrived and did I have any evidence as they are not liable if lost in the post. I sent all the evidence then was asked for it again, so resent. Then told I had been refunded but to wait a week for it to show (on Paypal, really??) - now a week on, no sign of refund on Paypal. Downright dis-honest and completely unashamed and rude with it. Disgusting.

*ADDED* The refund has now been confirmed by PayPal following the writing of this review plus an ultimatum to open a claim on PayPal, so my experience has concluded. In response to the reply below, nothing was down to external companies - the item was returned using Royal Mail and was signed for within one working day of being sent. It took LR 4 further days to acknowledge receipt, in response to me chasing and after having initially denied it was ever received. PayPal refunds are immediate if properly completed by the person refunding. I was told it had been done a week ago, with nothing appearing, but it miraculously went through within 2 hours of writing this review and threatening to open a claim if it was not refunded by 6pm this evening.

As an aside, I have been asked to remove this review in exchange for a 25% discount off my next purchase. Seriously?? Maybe David below who has written the polite reply is not fully aware of the sub-standard service offered by others in his company. When initially requesting the refund I made a suggestion to avoid others making the same mistake I had made with the item I purchased, and received a rude reply. As I said then, clearly not interested in improving the customer experience.

"Lightwell LED candle light bulbs"

2 of these light bulbs have exploded in the past 12 months, spraying shards of glass all around the two rooms where they were located. The first time I reported this to LightRabbit I was told that this had never happened before, and "out of goodwill" it was replaced. Now another has exploded. I contacted LightRabbit again explaining how dangerous the explosion was, only to be told that the bulb was out of warranty. They didn't seem at all bothered about their products exploding. I have removed the remainder of these bulbs and have replaced them with Megaman bulbs, a brand I trust. My advice is to steer clear of LightRabbit if you want to avoid a potentially serious accident.

"Faulty LED Bulbs"

I recently purchase 5 dimmable LED bulbs online and when fitted they worked OK to begin with but now are flickering. I have contacted the company I purchased them from (Light Rabbit) but they are refusing a refund. They are saying that my switch must be the wrong type causing this problem and that I must remove the switch to give them some information from this. I am not comfortable removing or looking at live electrical equipment. I have previously had similar LED's working from this switch. I have also mentioned that they are breaking the law in refusing to give me return address details.

The price for these bulbs was very keen but unfortunately the terrible after sales service leave a lot to be desired. The old adage you get what you paid for comes to mind.

"Trade customer. Poor service."

I made several orders over December. Whilst the prices were ok in the first instance I am afraid my experience was the worst I can remember. This experience included faulty products, 3 separate times when we received different products to what we ordered plus 'service' where listening is an under valued experience. I find myself arguing with people just to get what I ordered and paid for. I have requested a supervisor phone me now on two separate occasions and up to now nothing. I am obviously of no importance to them. I have spent £30 in phone calls and following 3 separate returns I am now going through the process again just to get my money back for the items which were sent wrongly in the first place.
