Well big shout out first of all to my guy Josh at Prestige Cars Essex. Well highly reccomend anyone looking for a luxury car to go to this place. Josh literally is the main guy he will go above and beyond to secure you the best deal with the perfect car. I purchased my BMW X5 from him and his customer service is outstanding. Top guy Josh keep making all those customers as happy as I was when I purchased my X5 from you. Thanks again bro. 10/10

I cannot be more clear when I say AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
I purchased an Audi A5 from “prestige” cars of Essex on 25th November 2024.
I travelled for 4.5 hours to a prearranged meeting with the dealership to see the car after placing a deposit online.
It was within the first 30 seconds of arriving at the dealership that the lies began.
I was told the despite it being 1500 in the afternoon and Connor the sales rep knowing of my attendance over a week in advance, the vehicle wasn’t ready as it was at the detailers being cleaned. I was told to wait 30-45mins for the car to arrive.
90 minutes later the vehicle was still not there. Connor then explained that he would “be honest” and disclosed that in fact they had curbed one of the wheels when moving the car so it was being repaired.
Connor stated “I could have just spray painted it and you wouldn’t have known the difference”
The vehicle was advertised with 52,000 miles on the clock via the website, the website was then updated whilst I was at the dealership and showed the vehicle with 10,000 more miles at 62,000.
I should have seen the cowboys I was dealing with and left the car however I had travelled 4.5hrs via train and taxi so stupidly looked past it.
Connor had no idea about the spec of the car, telling me it had a virtual cockpit when it didn’t.
The vehicle arrived and it was in a poor condition. The front chrome grille was very clearly rusted and weathered, the alloys were in terrible condition and had not been refurbed in the slightest bit as promised. It was also promised that the car would come with a minimum of 3mm tread on all tyres. One was barely legal and another just over the wear mark. Connor then told me “to be honest we normally use part worn’s on all the cars we sell”. Couldn’t be further from “prestige” if you ask me.
I again looked over these issues as I was miles from home and was assured by Connor that they would financially reimburse me the cost of a part worn tyre for the barely legal one only at the grand total of £60.00.
I purchased the vehicle and drove it home on the basis that I would be transferred the money agreed, a locking wheel nut set would be sent to me and a copy of the 6 month warranty would be emailed to me.
The date is now 30/12/2024 and I am yet to receive a transfer of £60.00 despite Connor stating he had sent it but would also sort it out on a number of previous occasions. Connor ignored my messages and then came up with the line “oh I don’t know how you ended up in my archives on WhatsApp” like it happens without intention.
Connor did not even process the sale via the DVLA until I had chased him numerous times and eventually got contact from him on 14/12/2024. I am convinced nothing would have happened unless I pushed for it to.
Like I said at the start AVOID this dealership at all costs, they lie through their teeth and provide the worst car buying experience I have ever had. Do not be fooled by the expensive vehicles shown or the Instagram marketing this place could not provide less of a prestige service if they tried.

"Scam company- took my money for deposit and never refunded me!"
Scam company - selling faulty cars and holding deposits. We dealt with Dan since day 1 and he seemed alright to me in the beginning but I’m process of purchasing there was so many things going wrong: from not providing pic and videos of the car until he actually delivered it! Likely we were not fools and have seen the car being smashed all over the angles. We have rejected the car and demanded to get the deposit back. He promised it’s been done but he obv lied! I have now taken this to solicitors and there is no way people should go through the same experience as me! Avoid at all costs as they are ignoring you since the moment you signed the agreement and paid the deposit!

Although I didn’t buy a car the test drive of the Mercedes C63 and the x4M went without a glitch, Jo’s knowledge of both cars was exemplary. Hadn’t even planned to look at the x4M but rather preferred it.
No pressure to buy the car whatsoever the whole process was very relaxed and informative.

"I would be careful of this company"
I would be careful of this company. Bradley in the sales office sold me an Audi last year. Told me clearly the monthly finance was VAT inclusive. I therefore ran the car through my company. Now found it there is no VAT. This has LOST me £2600. I have emailed 3 times and tried to contact him. Been stone cold ignored. Now taking legal action to get my money. Very very poor company and lied to sell a car. Please avoid. Much better companies to deal with who are honest.
