Had an amazing trip in January with One Traveller to India. Would highly recommend this company. From start to finish I felt so well looked after. It was an amazing trip with a fantastic tour manager and guide. I met lovely people and will treasure the memories.

We are always looked after so well. Tour manager is with you from airport until we get back to original airport. All meals and trips are included which means it is easier to know how much money you will need. For a single traveller it gives you a feeling of security at all times which is important

"Very varied experience - still not sure about them"

I've been on two One Traveller trips after a friend recommended the first one. Very different experiences.

The first was to Oman - they are the only travel company who seem to offer trips here and my friend recommended it. It was a wonderful tour of a very interesting and welcoming country which I would happily return to. Our tour manager was great company and very helpful as were the two wonderful local guides who showed around different parts of the country.

The only slight issue was the attempt to make us have a group meal on the last night with a very British menu. Nobody wanted it and we were eventually allowed to stick with the amazing middle eastern food which we had enjoyed for the duration of the trip.

My second experience was a Xmas trip to Hamburg - and if this had been the first it would have been my last. It was extortionately expensive - considering the length of the trip probably dearer than Oman - and generally poor standard. Our hotel was very well located but that is all I can say. Very little choice of food and mostly not particularly pleasant. Very mean with the housekeeping - had to ask for an extra towel to dry my hair and they wrote it down that I'd got one!

Local guides were all good - but some visits badly timed - arriving just as it got dark. The tour manager was something else - meant well I'm sure but had very unfortunate views about 'foreigners' which were surely not suitable in that job. Quite upsetting really.
I did inform OT about all this in the feedback but no response or apology.

I'm not sure If I'd go with them again. I did feel out of place to some extent on both trips, being northern and fairly progressive. There were some lovely people but it tended to be cliquey - many knew each other, and very clearly very affluent often with very entitled opinions. There was much talk about how many OT trips everyone had been on - as if it was a club that I wasn't a member of.

I always rejected holidays on cruise ships. The thought of thousands of people onboard filled me with horror. Then I saw the One Traveller link-up with Fred Olsen. I still wasn't sure if it was for me but the 'Northern Lights' cruise interested me and being with the One Traveller group made it more appealing. What was not to like? Chauffeur car to Portsmouth 45 minutes, No airport hassle, two weeks away from February weather, interesting ports of call, dog-sledding etc., etc. So I booked it........and I loved every minute of it. Can't wait to do it again.

I have just returned from a Northern Lights Cruise on a ONE Traveller Holiday onboard BOREALIS (Fred-Olsen Line) From Booking the holiday to disembarkation at the end, every event was delivered in a most professional manner. The cruise was a great success due to the ONE Traveller product and a very accomplished ONE Traveller Tour Manager . We saw the Northern Lights too! Thank You ONE "T"
