"I changed my mind"

I changed my mind. Wayfair used to be my Go To for fast and affordable quality furniture. But after waiting for 10 days for a desk that should have arrived to me in 4, and seeing that they didn’t ship it out until the date of the second delivery has me irritated.

"Poor customer service is a understatement"

I placed two orders. One for one item the other for two items. When I received shipping notification for one of the three items, I noticed that all three items were being sent to the wrong address. Called customer service and was told that the deliveries would be redirected. One of the items was shipped three days after my conversation with customer service and was sent to the wrong address. Called customer service and was told that they had notes regarding my prior phone call, but no changes had been made. I was told that I would have to make arrangements with who received the items to have them sent to me. Wayfair could stand to learn from Amazon or Costco when it comes to customer service. Wayfair's reply of this review on 1/11/25 was to update my information, so this doesn't happen again. I had updated my information before making the first call to customer service. It's obvious that Wayfair could care less about customers, and they deserve all the negative reviews. I will not worry about this ever happening again because I will never purchase anything from Wayfair again.

"Ordered this item for my granddaughter…"

Order this item for my granddaughter for Christmas. The gift was given to them and it was just a heavy slap of wood not a dresser at all. Customer service would not help because it’s been more than 30 days by the time they got the gift and opened it, Company is a scam !!!! No stars

"Ordered 6, got 2"

I ordered six new dining chairs two weeks before Thanksgiving. Two arrived quickly, the other four said they would still arrive in time. Then it suddenly switched to March of 2025! Today, it was canceled since the product is discontinued. Two dining chairs are useless! Wayfair expects me to go get a box and pay the postage if I want a refund for the two chairs I’m literally stuck with. Customer service is a complete joke. After several previous purchases, never again!!

Problem solved!

Ordered 2 dining chairs on Saturday. Realized they wouldn’t work and attempted to cancel the order at 5:30pm tgst same day. Was told I couldn’t. It was so near the time I had ordered that it hadn’t even populated in my account.
Talked to rep via text- only option would be to return at my own expense.

Chairs arrived yesterday( Tuesday) Tried to initiate a return and was told the item I ordered was not returnable. What? I asked for the language in the listing to notify a consumer it was a final sale- nothing.
Then another rep said bc it was a custom order, it was non refundable.

These were 2 slip covered chairs for $900. Absolutely nothing custom to see here.

Dishonesty will catch up either way them. For now, I have text threads that have been shared with my credit card company and am waiting for Wayfair to do the right thing.

Be very careful.

"30 minutes to change your mind! "

I ordered the wrong color chairs. I called customer services less than 24 hrs later and they said I couldn’t cancel the order. It will cost me 84$ to return them! I called customer services and asked them to help defray that cost, like other companies do-especially if you have ordered replacement chairs. They would not, and offered me a 10%coupon to use on one single item in the future. You have 30 minutes to change your mind and cancel an order with Wayfair. And you will live with your mistakes! Buyer beware!

"Do not buy ANYTHING from wayfair!"

Do not buy ANYTHING from wayfair!! I purchased a recliner (order # 3818113709) on Christmas Eve. I received a tracking # from the automated chat system yesterday per tracking the label was created on Christmas Day at 3am with no movement since. I reached out and talked to multiple reps one rep purposely disconnected the call one rep told me they “can see” that FedEx picked up the recliner another rep told me they would have to do a 10 day investigation to see where the recliner is. Now that a supervisor is involved she’s stating they gotta reach out to the warehouse to make sure they not shipping the recliner. If there hasn’t been any movement in 2 weeks why do she think the recliner is going to all of a sudden leave the warehouse!!!!! Then I told the supervisor I’m going to dispute the charge with my bank at this point I want a refund this lady had the nerves to say they will place a hold on my wayfair account if I decide to LADY I DONT CARE IM NOT ORDERING NOTHING ELSE FROM THIS HORRIBLE SITE!!!

"WayFairs customer service is wonderful."

WayFairs customer service is wonderful.
We recieved a damaged desk, and Wayfair replaced it in less than a week. They did not require the return of the damaged desk .It is a well made product and was not overly difficult to assemble. We also purchased a decorative corner shelf unit, that is also well made and easy to assemble.

"Delivery delay, product discrepancy"

I ordered a sofa (Order #4291625234) with delivery estimated 2 days later, but every day, I check my account expecting delivery on that day only to see delivery delayed to the next day. While I can understand delays of a day or two, I don’t appreciate being strung along each day without a reliable ETA.

I contacted customer service twice, hoping to cancel this order because the sofa was time-sensitive. Both times, I was met with agents who could do nothing but repeat the incorrect delivery date like a broken record. Their excuse? The item has “already been dispatched.” If that’s true, why is the tracking data completely stagnant, showing zero updates or movement? Wayfair can neither deliver my order within a reasonable timeframe nor let me cancel it.

To add insult to injury, there’s a discrepancy between the product I ordered (a 3-seater sofa) and the product listed on my orders page (a 4-seater). If the wrong item arrives, I’m terrified I’ll be forced to pay return shipping for Wayfair’s mistake!

What makes this worse is that I’ve discovered countless customers with similar horror stories—some waiting over a month for deliveries while Wayfair dodges accountability. This seems less like an isolated issue and more like a systematic failure in operations and customer service.

At this point, I don’t even want the sofa. This has been a complete nightmare. Wayfair has wasted my time, left me without the product I needed, and shown zero care for its customers. Avoid this company unless you’re ready for endless delays, unhelpful support, and a massive headache.
