"Joke customer service"
These clowns offered me a 20% discount to keep a broken toaster oven as if that wasn't a fire hazard or something. They also refused to do a simple exchange so if I wanted to return it and get a new one I would have to pay standard price when I got the item at a discount.

"Never received order and won’t provide refund"
Ordered an item 12 days ago. Still hasn’t shipped. When I write customer service, all they say is they will put in an investigation to try and locate my item in the warehouse, and I should hear back from them within 10 days. When I say, I would rather have a refund, they say not possible because it has shipped, except they just said in the sentence beforehand that it has not yet shipped and I. An see from the Fed Ex tracker that it hasn’t shipped. Beyond ridiculous. I’ve ordered from Wayfair in the past with no issues even when something was wrong, Customer service was quick to remedy the situation. Unfortunately, I see that it is no longer a reputable company.

lol- a 10% coupon code on a future order that expires in 2 months does not remedy the fact that I still have an order that says estimated delivery December 12th- it’s December 16th, with no refund or update 15 days from when I initially ordered. I already filed a dispute so I will be refunded one way or the other.

"Wrong size delivered, but would not accept return"
I ordered a mirror with attached shelf. Listed as 24x18. Received 18x24. Mirror with attached shelf is directional and does not fit.
Wayfair continued to ask for more and more pictures and would not move forward with the return though it was clearly the wrong description or wrong item.

"Awful experience"
Awful experience! Our 1st purchase with Wayfair will be our last for sure. We waited over a week to receive our item to be informed on the day of delivery that our furniture would not arrive for another week. Customer service is a joke. No wonder they have lawsuits

I will not shop with Wayfair ever again! My purchase was crap. The table I bought looks embarrassingly cheap. It’s ridiculous that a customer should have to pay shipping to return a damaged product.
Wayfair would be glad to set up a return? For $39! Ridiculous

I ordered waited several months CONTACTED WAYFARE THEY HAD TO REORDER. REORDERED THRU TEMU
ITEM WAS DELIVERED TO A CITY (TRACKING NUMBER SHOWED NO ADDRES JUST A CITY) 4 hours away from where I live. A shed a large shed just dropped off in a random city. Wayfarer recorded again to arrive this time by Dec. 12th (today is Dec. 11th) they are ghosting my emails ans NO TRACKING NUMBER. 1st time ordering LAST TIME ORDERING. THEY KEPT MY MONEY SO AM FILING FRAUD CHARGES WITH MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY,

"I ordered a rug on 12-4-24"
I ordered a rug on 12-4-24. It did not appear on Wayfair app but my credit card was charged. I reached out to Wayfair chat customer service many times. It kept switching reps and I had to start my inquiry over each time. The messages were robotic. They kept saying it was delivered. I tried calling the customer service number the last rep provided 877-929-3247 and it kept disconnecting. I googled other numbers to call and finally connected with a live agent, Kayla who told me the order wasn’t shipped yet because of delays. I tried to cancel but she said it was too late and I’d have to pay a shipping charge if I ever received it. In the meantime I ordered another rug from Amazon with 3 days expected delivery.
Do not order from Wayfair. It is a very deceptive company and very frustrating to speak with someone live and impossible to resolve issues.
I received the rug on 12-12, after I wrote this review. The rug is fine except it was sent roll up( the only way it could) and the sides are curling up. I’ll try ironing it with a light towel and low heat to flatten it out. The issue was resolved but I’m still upset with the lack of accurate communications at customer service chat.

"Not honoring sale price and charges return fees"
Purchased Christmas Tree and 2 days later even before delivery same tree went on sale for $l5 less. Contacted customer service to get price adjustment and was told they do not participate in price match even in their own company. Upon returning original tree and reordering price drop tree, Wayfair charges return shipping fees that equated to $23 higher. I cancelled replacement tree and making complaint for dirty tactics.

*Update December 30, 2024*: My original review had someone at Wayfair replying to it and requesting that I contact them directly to discuss. I did so and was immediately told the same thing I'd previously been told. I responded and asked if I could please be connected with the department that responds on Trustpilot. That was 2 weeks ago and I haven't heard anything since.
Original post: I just had such a frustrating experience with this awful company. I have spent so much time talking to customer service that I don't have the bandwidth to type my entire experience out here... but basically they are charging me hundreds of dollars to return an item that I cancelled BEFORE it shipped. Zero help or understanding from a company that I thought was about customer service.
What's even crazier is this order is being shipped by their own internal freight company and yet they refused to cancel the shipment even though it was still in their warehouse.

Dont buy something to wayfair!! We bought a closet to this company and also paid the assembly but that guy never to come.. we called the company several times but nothing happened!!
