"Unlawful non removal of device avoid avoid avoid!"

I have been with car finance company for 2 and a half years and paid the car in full 5 months early. I wan informed that someone would be in contact to remove the device ASAP. Then two weeks later I received an email saying that the removal man had gone sick (because all businesses only employee one person to do a job at any given time) I have rang numerous times to get the device removed from the car but they keep using excuses. It’s two months later now and I have had to pay a mechanic to come and remove the device which cost a lot which I will now be charging the car finance company through dealing with he financial ombudsman and civil proceedings if this has happened to you I would advise you to contact the ombudsman also as this company will try to get out of all conduct breaches. They feel that they are not accountable for their actions which for myself means immobilising a car that is now my paid for personal property! Avoid at all costs or it will end up costing you more!!!!!!!

Thank you for my call back/s I requested via your fb page . Had a lovely woman from collections ( can't remember her name sorry ) who talked through my account and we've came to agreeable solution to my issue, she was lovely and polite and very helpful taken away abit off stress. Thanks again .

"Scum bag, robb dogs Avoid"

As shared before just over 12months who plz stay clear of this company looking through customer comments it looks like we’re all in the same boat we have all been conned into buying cars that are unfit for purpose then when we have used them it becomes us the customers who have created the problems with the cars, TO ALL PEOPLE WHO HAVEN’T BOUGHT OF THESE CLOWNS IF YOU BUY A CAR OF THEM DONT USE IT PARK IT ON THE DRIVE AS A GARDEN ORNAMENT IT WILL BE ALL ITS GOOD FOR. What this company does is buys people’s unwanted rubbish from auction give it a little tart up a vac and clean and sells them on finance to people who are struggling with credit and can’t find a decent finance company. ALL YOU GUYS AND GIRLS OUT THERE WHO HAVE BEEN SOLD DUD CARS GET YOUR EVIDENCE TOGETHER AND LETS ALL CONTACT WATCHDOG AND NAME AND SHAME THESE SCUM BAGS BEFORE THEY RIP ANYONE ELSE OFF, my story like many of you is bought a car off them continuously breaking down it was a ford smax and I had to be recovered 4x in 6months I took it to ford the first time to be given 2 A4 pages of faults when I handed car over to tcfc to repair faults there mechanic just ticked everything as ok or done one major fault ford found was I had white smoke out the back and the clutch was going these clowns said clutch was naturally heavy as it was a diesel and that the white smoke was nothing to worry bout 2 weeks later 40mins from work after a 10hour day low and behold the clutch goes BUT THERE SO CALLED MECHANIC SAID IT WAS FINE then had car back and again 3weeks later on way home bang car looses all power rac something is wrong with engine it had locked up solid and guess what I’m now left with £7000 worth of debt for a piece of scrap that they came and repossessed and another thing of you do have it repossessed do not hand over log book I did and then I couldn’t cancel the road tax and been fined £80 on top all because I stupidly handed over log book. AVOID AVOID AVOID

"Avoid at all costs!!!"

I wish there was an optio for zero stars! Without a doubt the worst company I have ever dealt with, please avoid for your own sake!! I haven’t been able to drive my car properly since Christmas. Three mechanics, four RAC reports, two new batteries, countless days lost at work with all total to a ridiculous amount of money and every single person who has checked my car has said it’s the device that is fitted to it, and zero mechanical faults can be found. CFC won’t accept though and have refused to send an engineer out to visit. I am paying for a car I cannot use and having to use public transport. I have no idea what else I can do. I cannot explain the stress and frustration I am going through. Horrible company!!!

UPDATE FOLLOWING CFC REPLY- No one has been in touch!!! I spent over an hour trying to get through to you last night and then was hung up on!!!!! Disgrace!!!

"I’ve had a few issues with agents…"

I’ve had a few issues with agents within different departments in the company and being spoken to with little care at all! Waiting over 45 minutes for my calls to be answered to then find actions from previous calls not being completed nothing but trouble... until today when I’ve spoken to Ellen. She has been utterly amazing and is a credit to the company if everyone in the company was like her they’d be 5* Thank you Ellen your the reason I’ve given 4*.

"Don’t do it"

Within the first 6 months of my consumer rights act period the car I bought needed a new dual mass flywheel, clutch, injectors and the crankshaft bearings have worn which means it needs another engine. I don’t have that type of money to invest.

At Trade Centre Wales I was mislead into buying a car with absolutely no service history.

In the 5 months I had it, i had it serviced twice. Once from Trade Centre Wales and once from Evans Halshaw. But this is still deemed to be my fault and my responsibility to fix as I have driven the car around 12k miles up and down the motorway.

I don’t think I am that incompetent to completely destroy a car over 12k miles on a motorway.

I am unable to prove that these problems where there at the point of sale. But it seems very obvious to me that there was something wrong with it when I bought the car. I had even reported problems within the first month of buying the car.

I am not able to sell the car and I still have another 3 years to go.

"More trouble than its worth"

After 3 years of paying for my car and all payments finished. Getting them to remove the immobilizer is a joke, I was told 3 weeks ago someone would be in contact to remove it. I now own the car and i have had it immobilized and am unable to drive it. What right do they have to do that? I would not reccomend using this company there are much more reputable car finance company's out there. Avoid at all costs!

"Absolutely a pile of crap"

Absolutely a pile of crap! gave me a car on finance that was already on its way out! ive had to pay for the car to be repaired multiple times which has cost me more than the car is worth yet still have to make payments on time which for the past 2 years I haven't and the debt has been building up due to me having to pay to fix the car and have no money left to pay the finance!

they are always threatening to cut the car off with the device they put in and every single person I speak to is rude and they speak to me like im a piece of crap on someones shoe!

my monthly installments are suppose to be £172 per month but im actually paying £300 a month to them now which they tell me I have to pay! that 30% of my wages gone already over a car that is work about £1500! I can tell you now I wont be using this company again!!!

"They are fraud"

They are fraud. Give you car on finance when knowing the car is not fit for purpose. And they refuse to change the car or repair it. No complete service history. Fault as been diagnosed on the car and the fault was not fixed before giving me the car on finance. They were told to change some parts in the engine and they did not change the parts. After giving me the car on finance, the car stopped working in 5 weeks and some days after.

Finally, they lied and say that I drove the car without engine oil in it that's why the car stopped working. Scammer.
Why will I drive a car without engine oil in the engine? Lol.
This company are a joker.

I'm going to start sharing my experience with this company on social media so that innocent people don't fall victim

"Unable to leave 0 stars!!!!"

Only leaving one star as leave 0 isn't an option!

Firstly, let me start by saying up until recently I've had no real issues with TCFC. That was until my mother became ill and I missed the monthly payment by SIX days........

Due to being made redundant and working a temp job I chose to call up and make the payment monthly as I couldn't always guarantee which account the funds would be coming out of.
This was completely manageable until today. It transpires that although they have mine and hubbys contact details, they failed to contact me.

So, realising my mistake I call them and try to pay...... to which I am advised that my car is going to be repossessed! 'Christian' was more than happy to take the payment...... but couldn't stop the recovery.

He then kindly advised me of the settlement figure which I said I could sort within the quote due by date (4 weeks from now).

He replied that although the quote was valid for 4 weeks, the recovery team would have taken the car by then. When I asked for a date and time they would be arriving I was told he didn't know and couldn't find out.

He then went on to ask where I was........ I asked why and he replied it was so the recovery team knew......? I found this extremely strange considering he stated he didn't know when they would be out....?!

Whilst speaking to Christian, it became apparent I was going round in circles with the conversation and due to the fact I was sat in a hospital waiting room, I became a tad sarcastic and may of told him he was either not listening to me or was just a bit thick.

He then hung up.

Whilst I understand why he did this, I had explained, more than once, that mum had been in hospital for the past week and I wasn't prepared to have the car taken considering it has THREE, yes THREE, months left on finance.

In short........ if you require finance as you are a bit strapped and need a car urgently, invest in a push bike....... or walk.

P.S. after explaining my frustration to hubby I then got him to call....... And my mate Christian answered! He was told that the reason we weren't contacted was because Mr's phone no was invalid....... he notified them of the change 5 months ago and has done so every month since!

P.P.S beginning to think they don't want to speak to me as I am on hold again....... Only 40 minutes thus far.... got another half an hour min to wait!
