"Reduced cost of domestic landline."

Signed up to an account, got my hardware going then ported our landline number to them. £40+ a month down to £12.
Being a bit techy I put in a Grandstream HT812 to connect to our existing DECT handset, and that seems to be working OK.
Slight confusion on billing when I started, but Voipfone support optimised the package so I got the best value.
Call blocking is excellent! Unlike BT, there is no limit to the block list, so you can block all the junk calls.

"These guys are just on another level…"

These guys are just on another level when it comes to customer support. I've contacted them on 2 separate occasions with 2 separate issues that I didn't feel confident enough to take on by myself and both times their response was flawless. Polite, professional, to the point, job done in less than 10 minutes !

"Voipfone is SO good"

Voipfone is SO good. I have had Voipfone account for some years and it's hassle free.
Recently we changed broadband router and the phone just stopped working. Tried everything then finally got in touch with technical via online chat and Ian managed to resolve the issue (router problem). I honestly can't praise Voipfone enough. If you want to get a voip number then use this company. The price is amazing too!

"Quick and easy"

The voip adapter that I purchased from ebay just failed to connect to my network. So I purchased one from Voipfone. Part of the purchase was asking for it to be setup for my account. It was not the cheapest but I just plugged it in and my phone just worked. It comes with a USB power plug. Delivery via DPD was very quick, faster than I expected.

"Great as an end user if you want to decent voip telephony service"

When moving to fibre broadband, found the cost of calls skyrocketed via my service provider. I got fed up with using mobile telephone apps, whilst low cost, call quality was awful, and lines frequently dropped.

I bought a grandstand wp822 from amazon, and signed up originally to zoom (really corporate service), whilst excellent features and cheap, had nonstop issues, so tried voipfone after reading reviews.

So far, call quality is good, call costs are super competitive, and their web site is easy to use even for a novice such as myself.

"First-Class Customer Service & Support in a World of Indifference"

I've had a travel voip phone from this excellent mid-sized company for several years with no issues. Always been impressed by their high-quality and consistent technical support and competitive prices. So, at the start of this year, I decided to port my old landline from a major boardband provider to VOIPFONE's "Home Plan Unlimited". The losing service provider (perhaps unsurprisingly) did not honour the deadline, did not communicate with me or VOIPFONE and did not follow the proper industry procedure to ensure the porting process ran smoothly. VOIPFONE's porting team got on it very quickly, raised a complaint at a senior level with losing provider and managed to complete the porting process and all the necessery testing in 24 hours (the process normally takes at least 5 working days if everyone does their bit accurately within the agreed timeframe - and I had allowed 10 days for it!). Now I have a functionning landline, with unlimited calls, at a more reasonable cost compared with the major broadband provider. Thank you Voipfone. More power to your elbow!

"Amazing value with equally amazing customer service "

I had had enough of my previous VOIP provider for our small business (ten years with them) who were charging 7 times what I’m now paying Voipfone and with absolutely impenetrable (US based) customer service who seemed more interested in inviting me to “seminars” than answering basic customer service problems.

So I happened upon Voipfone and for the unbelievably low prices they charged I decided to give them a go. As soon as I signed up Sophie was in touch to arrange setting up and porting our number. I gave her all the necessary details, and she set to work. She experienced exactly what I had experienced with my old provider - who were obstructive, unresponsive, and deliberately difficult (obviously not wanting to make it easy for me to leave them). She put up with weeks and weeks of hassle with them for a customer who to be fair wasn’t worth a lot of money to Voipfone. I fully expected her to say can’t be done and to abandon my cause, and to be fair I wouldn’t have blamed her. But she persisted and finally pushed my old provider to get on with it.

Porting is currently set to take place any day now and I’ll finally be rid of my old provider, and now be with a provider who is not only incredible value, but has already proven their commitment to customer service - no matter how big or small you are as a customer - in providing friendly, intelligent, responsive, UK based service that is determined to get you the result you need. This is a total rarity in the modern age and I cannot therefore recommend Voipfone more highly, and on a personal note wish to reiterate my thanks to Sophie for her dedication to my case.

Edit: porting complete, new phone service up and running and doing the exact job of its predecessor but at a fraction of the price and with customer back up in which I feel completely confident. This is such a rare experience these days!
