"In broadband, bigger isn't better."

As I've worked in the broadband industry (back as far as testing one of the first ADSL lines and before that introducing 0845 dial-up) I understand what is involved in running an ISP. Pine Media have wisely chosen to focus only on full fibre, and do that well. This, together with being a small local company, and a founder seemingly active on the front lines explains why they are getting great reviews.

Have to agree. Bar one small glitch, ordering, installation, customer service, customer support has all been spot-on. Problems sometimes occur. How you deal with them is what counts.

Definitely recommend these guys. Especially over anyone bigger or more well-known.

"Great service"

Although they missed my first connection appointment, we were able to reschedule to the earliest available date. After my internet had been connected the Team followed p to find out how it was performing. They were so quick to respond to emails. They even wait before billing to make sure everything is working just fine. I got the basic package of 1000mbps and the speed is just perfect for online meetings and even streaming videos.

"Totally useless"

Far and away the worst company I have ever dealt with. I am moving house so needed to terminate my connection. Was told it would be terminated on the 18th September. The line is actually terminated on 28th August when I still needed it to work from home. I was told that openreach had terminated early, with no explanation as to how that had happened, and that I would have to pay extra to have it re-instated when it is their screw up. How could anyone think that is an acceptable way to treat a customer?

I am re-writing my earlier review that was written out of frustration and seems unfair to leave it at that, hope my review helps others. Although there was an issue with installation/registration of the eero device which took the company three days to sort out, Will, a director, resolved the issue on a Saturday morning (even though they are closed on Saturdays) and stayed in touch throughout the weekend to make sure our service is up and running. Much appreciated Will, Steve and the team, thank you.

Amazing customer support, answered all of my wide-ranging questions quickly and with lots of detail and understanding for my particular circumstances. They offer great WiFi - fast, stable and cheap. What more could you want!

We have been with Pine media since the start of 2020, when they started covering our area. We have not looked back since then, in the past we have used other providers and it was always unpleasant to deal with them. We are about to move and they have made the transfer process very easy! :)

Really quick process from ordering online to people coming for installation! WiFi is really fast and reliable! Setting up was simple however if we needed any help all we did was ring up and the issue was sorted in 2 minutes! Great internet provider, for a great price!
