Emailed solidor about a problem was contacted by a phone call the next day by Sebastian who was very helpful and sorted my problem straight away so thankyou for helping me out

We bought a Solidor door in March this year from a local reseller. The locking mechanism didn’t work well from the start and we have had an engineer out at least half a dozen times. We are now told that the shop we bought it from has changed ownership, that the business that we paid is no longer trading and so the door can’t be fixed! Solidor have no option to contact them directly for support, advising customers to go through the reseller - who in our case apparently no longer exist. We’re left with a door that’s less than a year old that we can’t unlock!

Got our Solidor front and back door 3 years ago, which are beautiful doors and excellent quality. Sadly we noticed a problem with the hinge on the front door, a small cap had come off and the bar was sliding out. I contacted solidor via email and the email I got in response was 5* the customer representative arranged to send me replacement at no cost. So yes I highly recommend solidor for great customer service. Particularly Sebastian Stachowiak.

"I was so excited for my solidor door"

I was so excited for my solidor door. The standard of construction is awful with cross bars not even attached to the window. Spoke to solidor who said ‘that’s how they are made’. Also colour of crossbars is not the same as the door. Again, solidor said that was ‘normal’. Definitely not worth the money and should not be regarded as a quality product

"My Solidor front door horizontal panels…"

My Solidor front door horizontal panels have seperated and the door has developed several cracks across the panels. I have tried to contact the company that installed it but they are no longer trading. I went for a Solidor because of their reputation for quality and endurance but unfortunately the door has fallen well short of this. Is there anything that can be done ?

"Beyond expectation Customer Service"

Have had my Solidor for around 7 years, and the storm/draught excluder had deteriorated.
I rang Solidor and spoke to Matt, who went above and beyond over the course of 4 weeks to not only send me a new excluder Free of Charge, but when I was unable to find the roller required to fit it, Matt spoke with one of their fitters, and borrowed a roller, sending it to me (arrived in 4 days) so I can fit the new strip.
So grateful both for the amazing customer service Matt provided and the new strip. In addition, Matt is a cheery, jokey voice at the end of the phone. Hope his managers recognise what a delightful team member they have. I'm sure they do. Thank you Matt.

"Brilliant Customer Service"

I have recently purchased a new property fitted with a Solidor Pisa Front Door. The door handle, made of stainless steel had rusted and spoilt the look of the otherwise beautiful door. I contacted the installer Centurion Windows in Scarborough regarding purchasing a replacement, it appears they kindly contacted Solidor on my behalf. Yesterday, a day after my initial contact with Centurion Windows, out of the blue I received a phone call from Sebastian, an extremely helpful Customer Service Advisor at Solidor, he very kindly offered to send a replacement handle and explained how to maintain it so that future rusting could be prevented. Amazingly the handle arrived this morning less than 24 hours after his call and within a few minutes of its delivery he called me again to check it had arrived safely.
It is a very long time since I have received such efficient and helpful service. Well done Sebastian of Solidor (and Centurion Windows), a well deserved five stars!

"Great product and great customer carecare team …"

I recently had a schwarzbraun Ludlow door and glazed side panel fitted . It looks and performs excellent , to say I’m very well pleased is an understatement . The ‘cherry on the cake ‘ as it were was when I contacted their customer care service about losing a tiny grub screw that attaches to the polished chrome latch surround on the lock , they couldn’t be more helpful , the lady I spoke to ( Shelby ) offered to send me a complete new latch as she felt the tiny grub screw would be lost ! She sent me an email straight away after taking my details with confirmation reference number as well as date of the dispatch to my address , nothing was to much trouble for this charming lady in her efforts to rectify the minor problem . This day and age it was a surprising pleasure to be dealt with in such a friendly and professional way by the Solidor customer care service . Well done guys ! 👏👏
