"Where's the spares department???"
I've just got of the phone after speaking with Solidors terrible aftersales department. I simply required a replacement threshold door seal, as the door is a bit draughty, but they refused to give me any information and insisted that I contact the original installer (installed 2015). Replacing a door seal is a 5 minute job and doesn't require assistance from a 3rd party. I will not be buying any more doors from this company.

"New Back Door"
Ordered a new back door from Solidor, it arrived on the day they had acknowledged and was fitted within 3 hours. Really happy with the service and the door oozes quality, inside and out. Compared to my old door, the new one feels a lot more secure when you close it and does not let any draught in. Also a massive improvement in light coming in to my house as i chose a door with more glass in it than my old one. Overall, a great investment 👌

First door split and bulged within 3 years but they replaced the door under warranty with no quibbles. That's appreciated.

"Satisfaction of Warranty Claim"
Recently had to contact Solidor regarding issues with my door from which the front facia was breaking and panels were coming apart and we could not properly use the door to exit the house. Matthew from the Warranty claims department dealt with our query and from the very beginning I had every faith that he would do his utmost to get our issue resolved. My trust was not misplaced and Matthew dealt with my queries at every stage, with great efficiency; always polite, helpful and approachable. The door was still under warranty and I was very disappointed at what had happened to it, especially as we had chosen Solidor because we believed their doors were some of the best. However a replacement door was sent to us so we were pleased that our warranty agreement was honoured. Matthew is an asset to the Solidor company. When dealing with companies these days, I wish there were more people like him on the end of the phone.

"First door warped badly within a year"
First door warped within a year. Solidoor did a survey of it and agreed to replace the door block. Took ages(months) for part to arrive which was refitted by solidor. All good apart from timescales and told always to lift the handle when the door has been closed. 1 year on and the replacement door has also warped just like the first despite following their instructions. Solidor want to come and do another visit so waiting for that but going to ask for a refund. Very poor quality product at a premium price. Would never use again.

"Mismatched door and surround"
We purchased a door and surround in 2021, which was fitted to our satisfaction. Within 18 months the door had split in 2 places. This was replaced but the door is now a different shade to the surround. We notified the agent that we purchased it through and we were told that Solidor said it was the same as the first one. It clearly isn’t or we would have complained then. They even provided a swatch to prove their point. It still didn’t make it match the surround. We therefore have paid over £2000 for a mismatched door and surround. I have written to Solidor to ask for them to resolve this issue but in 6 weeks have not received a reply. I am very disappointed in the company and would not recommend them. All we want is the matching door and surround that we ordered and paid for and that was originally had fitted in 2021.

"Worth more than 5*"
Talk about being looked after...Jase at Solidor really looked after us! Our issue from start to being resolved with a fitter arranged a matter of one day. We'll done Jase.
We look forward to the fitter arriving mid-February.
Solidor will be our first choice for other doors planned for the near future.
