"Very helpful!"
Had an issue with our door. Supplied photos directly to Solidor due to the supplier going into liquidation. Solidor responded quickly and replaced and organised the fitting of the door. Their door engineer was very efficient and knowledgeable as well as their customer service department. Very pleased with our Solidor door and wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Alastair Pykett

"Leaking door cassettes and letterbox"
This was an utterly awful experience after purchasing a Solidor font door through their approved fitters, Wiltshire glass and doors. The first heavy rain it leaked through the glass and letterbox. This was repaired using a kit supplied by Solidor. Leaked again, Wiltshire glass insisted on another repair and said Solidor wanted to inspect. Agreed to the inspection not the repair. Asked for new replacement door as I was entitled to by law. They said Solidor may replace. Was told Solidor could not come out for a while so Wiltshire glass insisted on a repair. I have cut this write up to the minimum but their final letter said Solidor cannot supply a replacement door, so when you find a new supplier we will refund your money. Charming, so they washed their hands of us and we had to go through more stress of having door and frame taken out and sourcing another supplier. Wiltshire glass were bullying, rude, and uncaring about our situation. Steer well clear of Both of these companies. Roger Farr

"Very poor customer service"
I had a new front door fitted by a firm and requested a solidor as a few people said they where good. HOW WRONG I WAS after about three weeks I noticed water by the door when I looked closer water was coming through the door itself, just under the window. I contacted the fitter who then tried to get a response from solidor, I also contacted solidor and got NO HELP at all. They told the fitter he needs to run some sealant around the window. but I don't want sealant visible on the door they need to come out and remove the glass and seal it correctly instead of trying to bodge it. don't buy a solidor or you will regret it.

"appalling customer service and not worth the money"
Bought a top of the range door (£3000 worth)that warped within 6 months. Apparently , according to solidor , that's ok providing the door will lock. Never mind the aesthetics. Also they told us that you will get warping due to the weather. really makes one think about the quality of the product. Dealing with them has been horrendous. For example, they say that warping is within THEIR tolerance levels, but will not confirm that these are also the industry standard tolerance. They simply don't care. Attitude on the telephone bordered on rudeness. Our installer thinks that this is unacceptable but they won't budge. Choose another manufacturer.

"Rusty Handles"
When we spent nearly four grand on two composite doors which look great , we didn't expect the handles to go rusty within months. The solution from Solidor is to clean with brasso!!!!
We chose these doors for zero maintenance!!
We kept the wrapping on one door handle for protection as we were having rendering work done. When the wrapping came off the handle was rusty already.

"A happy customer!"
Our new Solidor has been in place for over 5 months now and we are absolutely delighted with it. The house is warmer, quieter and much safer than before. After the installation we've had one reason to contact Solidor for some help - they were brilliant, fast to respond and solved our question straight away. I would happily recommend, and plan to replace our back door next.

"Excellent build quality, wide range to choose from"
We have a 1930s house and were able to configure our order so that the door, glass and awnings were in keeping with that period. I liked the fact that the door has the strength and aesthetics of a traditional wooden door, with the benefit of a low-maintenance of a uPVC door. There is a great range of door types and glass designs to choose from.
The front of our house look great with the Solidor door, its very secure (anti-snap/bump locks ), heat efficient - we absolutely love it!

"Great doors and great service"
We have recently had 2 Solidor doors fitted, by one of their recommended installers, and are very happy indeed. The doors themselves, (a Tenby 2 and a stable door) look great and the installer (Belvedere Windows of Ludlow) went to great trouble to make sure they fitted perfectly. Our only regret is that we didn't investigate all the possible door furniture options available on their website, as we would have changed the front door lock arrangement had we done so. Having said that, when we rang to purchase a thumb turn option replacement for one of the doors they supplied it free of charge!

"Excellent Customer Service"
We have had a Solidor front door for almost three years now and the plastic screw that was supplied with the door to fix the knocker has broken twice! The first time we got a replacement through our builder and the local Solidor supplier. This time I went direct to Solidor and had a reply to my query within a couple of hours. Steven who dealt with me was brilliant. He immediately told me he would send metal threads as they had finally realised that the plastic ones were not fit for purpose and he kept me updated as to the progress of the replacements which arrived within a few days. I have been most impressed by the service I received from Steven, it has been a refreshing change from that usually encountered elsewhere.
