I raised an online enquiry and designed the door I wanted. The fact you are not given any indication of price is not ideal as other sites do this but it wasn't a deal breaker. What was worse was the fact that I was referred to a local installer who never bothered to contact me. Leasson learned.

Excellent Product.. Great Style and Finish..I looked around at a lot of doors before seeing the Solidor. As soon as I saw one I ordered one. Swift Delivery by Local supplier. Price was not consideration however was very pleasantlt surprised by final amount. Good Value..

"No one contacted me!!"

After going through the process of creating the perfect door I was told someone would contact me in order to get the door and No one ever did. This is twice this has happened.

I used the website tool to confirm my choice which was very helpful as a visual guide. Like trying on new doors!! The local company fitting my door recommended to use it for this purpose, though I had already chosen with them. My home is a lovely old cottage which desparately needed a replacement front door to enhance and make secure. My new door is certainly a beautiful enhancement to my home of the highest quality and workmanship. Most importantly my new door is exceptionally secure, engineered and fitted to perfection, incorporating the unique Solidor locking system. This is a 'dream' door .....thank you Solidor

I have designed my door several times to obtain some idea price but no supplier has ever returned my email despite promises that it has been passed on to local fitter.

"quality product"

Quality product but let down by little details like:-
The door I had was in rosewood but the edges were orangey brown.
The weathering strips on the top & bottom doors (stable door) are a slightly different colour.
The weathering strip end caps are not rosewood colour.
Just simple little things that would make a good door perfect.

I tried getting a quote for a new door.
I filled out online form 3 times, 2 emails and phoned with no reply.
I will not buy from a company that does not reply.

"Took a while but got there...."

Door is good, but didn't get handle that we ordered fitted, nor the locking mechanism or the door number - raised issues with supplier and we eventually got everything sorted in the end with a lot of back and forths!!! Would prefer to give 3 1/2 stars but not an option

"Sturdy feeling, warm, good looking door"

Our last front door was a uPVC one that had been in place 21 years, the lock and handle were decidedly ropey and we decided to replace it with a composite door.
The Sloidor was installed by the fitter who also fitted two windows that needed replacing and price wise we paid a little over £900 for a red door with two frosted windows and chrome ironmongery. It looks impressive, is notably more sturdy feeling than our last door and also notably warmer and without any draughts being felt.
Needs a little adjustment as the locking mechanism feels stiff to fully engage, but I expect that it will "settle" over the next few weeks.
