The door has been excellent, really sturdy. It receives a lot of weather as it’s in the sun all day long all summer long, serious temperatures here in London. It hasn’t distorted or warped at all and still looks great seven years later (fitted in 2016), it hasn’t faded at all

"Payed the invoice for the door then a…"
Payed the invoice for the door then a week before delivery they emailed me to say that they wanted an extra £102 for delivery because i live in Kent!
Follow up to delivery, door arrived but noticed thumb turn was satin and handles are brass which i ordered.There reply email informed me that they do not do brass locks even though the manufactures does .Therefore cannot help me.So why do they give you the option of brass handles!
There reply to their poor feed backs ask for you to explain the problem offline ,and when you do you get no reply.

"Absolute joke of a company"
Absolute joke of a company. Don’t be fooled by the guarantee it’s worth nothing. My door leaked from day one and had nothing but problems with it. Glass leaked, Letter box fell off I’ve had to silicone this on myself, door is a pig to shut. Door was saturated inside i had to leave the letter box off inside for 3 months. Solidor customer service is shocking with nothing but false claims of trying to sort it but they never do just same old story. I have 3 years of issues with photos, messages, emails. I’m a reasonable person but your customer service and warranty is an absolute joke. Shame on you as a manufacturer who claim to produce a quality product with warranty to back this up. All I ask is you supply a replacement door I will even pay another installer to fit.
I will continue to leave bad reviews to warn others. Absolute Jokers. AVOID!!!!!

"No follow up on gaurantee from solidor installers or company"
Bought a door from solidoor the latch keeps getting stuck. Contacted the installer but no returned calls. The door is within gaurantee period. Annoyed as door is causing alot of problems.

"I would like to be able to give Solidor a good review."
I would like to be able to give 5 stars but both the installer and our builder have said they are not willing to change the glass in our Solidor Flint 1 door. The pattern is called digital and needs to be vertical to match other windows. The glass has been set diagonally in the diamond shape frame so the pattern is sloping sideways. The builder had remarked on it looking odd which is what we think too. We realise you prefer to deal with the person who placed the order but we have no option but to ask hopefully for your intervention. Wendy

"Zero customer service when something goes wrong"
Raised a concern in January 2022. I got one response in February 2022 and then had to chase to get an second email in October 2022. Door had completely cracked. Solidor were useless. Refused to help. Would not send an engineer to look at my door. My installer had gone bust and despite Solidor being very able to find my details on their system given the door spec and purchase date they refused to help. I would never use this company again.
UPDATE 8 July 2023
Solidor emailed me via trust pilot on 30 May. I responded that day confirming that the information they had requested (essentially proof of the issues) had previously been provided to the company and provided the name of the colleague I had been liaising with. I never heard from them again. The responses on here offering to resolve issues appear to be completely worthless, just like their guarantee.

"Worst company I have ever dealt with"
Worst company I have ever dealt with . As a professional door installer i have never encountered a more chaotic organisation. Poor customer service , variable quality on doors. Fail to respond to e-mail or telephone calls.
All levels of management equally incompetent. Avoid like the plague. I am currently removing all of their doors from my showroom , don't know whether to build a bonfire with them or throw in the skip. Absolute S**t

Received a defect frame and not offered a discount or refund only replacement frame but I would have to foot the bill to have it changed .....not acceptable! Would not recommend

"A local company fitted Solidor front…"
A local company fitted Solidor front and back doors a couple of years ago.
I have always been very pleased with the doors but shortly after fitting,I noticed that one of small plastic end caps was missing on the front door.
I mentioned this to the installer and was told he would speak with Solidor…unfortunately I never received any replacement caps.I have been unable to make contact with the installer in recent months.
I made contact with Solidor directly and within 2 days I received a set of caps.
Great service and very much appreciated.
The doors are fantastic and the after sales service was excellent.
