"after care shocking"

Please be aware as a once supplier and installer of this product, should a problem arise regarding manufacturing or furnishings at a later date , sadly Solidor back paddle and push back, we no longer supply or install due to our own personal reputation as a company, we weren't happy to leave our customers high and dry or leaving them out of personal pocket, we as a honourable company have fitted the bill, Great design in doors, terrible after care.

"Terrible customer service"

Terrible customer service with a faulty door. Reported issues almost a year ago. One initial email in response, chased up 7 times plus phone calls not returned. From initially being really happy with the door, we are now very dissatisfied and cannot get this company to address the issues raised.

"Poor Quality door & poor customer service. It’s been nearly 3 months & I have"

It’s been nearly 3 months & I have made several calls & sent emails to the customer service and spoken to them about the difficulties of the door which is been newly installed and they have done nothing. It’s one of the worst customer service. We are stuck with the front door does not close and we are living in that house every day tackling with this difficulty. Solidor said because it is through a company that we bought the door which is unfortunately gone in administration and solidor policy is to not deal with customers directly. The front door costed Us nearly £1400. I’m just stuck with it the offer of warranty of 15 years which is completely invalid. If you cannot deal with a customer for the last three months who is having a front door issues And something as basic that the lock does not close.I would not recommend this company and it’s been a nightmare having a solidor door.
It’s not built to last!! Hope they can sort me out

Solidor offer superb after sales customer service. My query was dealt with promptly, professionally and with kind understanding. Rhea ensured that an immediate resolution was reached, she kept in touch with me until my problem was solved. The quality of my new door, its installation and subsequent customer service was 5 star. I wholly recommend the quality of my installed Solidor and their very attentive customer and after sales service.

"Solidor front composite door"

I have already put in a response which I gave Solidor 2 stars however having been unable to contact them on their tele no. Having responded to their answer for them
to contact me without success. It appears their customer service should be 0. Having checked my door fully I find that the drain holes for the 2 glazed panels are on the inside of the door what muppet thought it a good idea to drain water to the inside of the house. Also the rubber letter box seal is on the inside. Having been a fully qualified Carpenter & Joiner I find this door very very disappointing to say the least. Addendum the photo were sent from my wife Email so you can send a reply to either my Email listed on Trustpilot or my wife email with the photo's attached which also had both contact tele numbers. i await you reply. As of the 7th April despite speaking to Mauaruao who stated he would pass the enquiry on to the correct dept nothing has happened. It appears this is the normal response from Solidor to customer complaints is to ignor them thinking that they will go away.
I now feel that the door when it arrived was not fit for purpose,

The email and correspondence very good all along from Solidor Jamie & Ro the fitters from Martindales were very polite. Got the Job done to a high standard. Tidied as they went. Just what you want.

Unfortunately I am having to retract on my 5 star review.

There seems to be a design flaw with the door. Where the coloured window cassette trim sits onto the white plastic screwed frame. As it warms up and cools down it makes cracking expansion and contraction noises which is very disappointing. They have been out to look at the door and rectify but the problem still exists and have been awaiting confirmation of the second visit since 29th June and its now 17th July. Could also be something to do with the window seal.

From start to finish the website was easy to use and design an external door really user friendly.
We were kept informed of when the door would be delivered and as promised it was there no delays such an excellent service from start to finish.
We have had the door fitted and it looks amazing. Thank you so much Solidor for your excellent customer service, friendly delivery…we will definitely be recommending to others.
