"Brilliant Service"

We had a Solidor door fitted 6 years ago and have been extremely pleased with it.
Unfortunately while I was doing some work close to the door I damaged the storm guard and an air vent cover.
I contacted Solidor and received 1st class service from them regarding getting the two replacement parts. Everyone was extremely helpful

"Terrible customer service"

Looks the part, but problems from.day1.. the locking system kept getting jammed ( this was not down to fitter) as engineer said it's a faulty barrel.. after 6 months the stainless steel handle has gone rusty, corroded, the seals cracked and needs replacing, and the handle is loose, I've contacted solidor and they said I will have to pay for a new handle, even though I forked out £1800 on this door and it's still under warranty.. unbelievable poor customer service.. happy take ya money but not fix faulty parts. ( I'm still trying get them to put it right, its probably 5 mins work for them, I'm hoping they see common sense and put it right before i take it further, also people talk and i will always tell family and friends about the situation I've found myself in

I bought a stable door over 6 months ago and I’m still so pleased with it. Quality is great. We live in a conservation area so it needed to look in keeping with the history of the area. Had so many compliments about it and now my neighbour wants the same. I think I’ve started a trend in the village! Thanks Solidor...I now want another one for the front of the house.

Had a new front door 2 years ago and had no problems with it. Door is south facing and fits perfectly with no bowing, great seal for noise and temperature, door furniture has not rusted. Really made a wonderful improvement to our house and feels really safe, secure and solid.

Beautiful doors to look at but that is as far as it goes . Been installing doors for over 20years . When you install the doors as the instructions . 9/10 these doors have problems with Bowing Etc . So many problems so many revisits to customers . Solidor do not want to know they seem to always pass the buck and say it has been installed incorrectly. When it hasn’t Also door furniture starts to rust / peel they won’t even replace those . Saying the customer Must of cleaned them with something which again they haven’t . Customer service is appalling . The fitter buys these doors and install correctly and when there is a problem. The fitter has all the hassles and makes them look bad . Stay away from Solidor the doors are not fit for purpose .please people don’t blame the fitters give Solidor the hassle . We as a company will not be using these doors ever again we refuse to install sub standard doors anymore . Solidor have lost yet another company and believe me there are many they have lost and there will be more !
