Having read many reviews on here, I have to say I am somewhat apprehensive about future problems regarding warping. Approx 12mths after installation on a period property, I have had no issues with the product whatsoever, it is a quality product so far. It's a south facing front door, zero warpage. I had some issues which were only a bit of fine tuning on the fitting.
Only real gripe, I was disappointed to see insufficient weatherproof gasket material provided for the letterbox on the Flint door. Sealant on top edge isn't a permanent solution.
This is a response to Solidors reply:
There is a gasket but doesn't seal the grooves in the Flint door, hence a puddle inside after raining before silicone was applied. An easy thing for you guys to fix. Shame I can't attach a pic.

"Ordered doors through local installer"

Ordered doors through local installer. Doors arrived and were the wrong ones, wrong hinges, wrong locks, wrong opening mechanism, also had a hole right by the handle as if someone hard drilled a hole too big for the actual door handle.

Took 3 months, loads of calls and email then eventually new doors arrived. They were installed 8 weeks or so ago and now one of the doors has become near impossible to close

Very very bad doors - very disappointing avoid at all costs. Worst £2500 I have ever spent

"On door number four now - avoid!"

On door number four now ! Installed and looked great then door warped outside Solidor tolerance of 5mm and would not lock. Some discussion between installer, supplier and Solidor and finally door number 2 arrives. Repeat process twice more ! New door fitted yesterday and now 2-3mm warped. Solidor blame it on the weather and it's a black door - really it's an outside door what rubbish !!

love our new solidor, we live in a victorian property and decided on a door that was in-keeping with the houses traditional style. our new door is a real show stopper and we have so many compliments from passers by and neighbours, we even have people knock the house to ask us where we got our door from. Overall superb quality product with a real premium finish.

"Solidor Ludow 2 installed July 2016"

We have had our Solidor Ludow 2 installed in July 2016. We have been really impressed with it so far. Still looks great and sets off the whole house. Recently, previously we had noticed that one of the little threshold end caps was missing. Contacted Solidor who sent out replacements within 24 hours. In terms of the door performance, the door is very solid and secure. All mechanisms are working as expected and there has been no evidence of warping or bubbling. Our experience of both Solidor and the fitters (Double Glazing Essex) has been a positive one.

Just had my new front door installed. Really happy with the quality of the product and installation. Lots of comments from the neighbours. Would highly recommend.

After spending thousands of pounds with Solidor Ltd still waiting after several months after problem after problem. So my advice to anyone looking at this company don’t bother.

We have used Solidor for many years. All staff are very helpful and efficient. Brochures were received the very next day and the new house drop leaflet is excellent. Look forward to providing more custom and hopefully many more happy customers.

"Great to start, but now very disappointed"

I am very disappointed with our Solidor. It looks great and when we first got it I told everyone to get one! However, we have now had it 3 years and the lock mechanism has become faulty. For the last few weeks, every time I have come home late I haven't been able to open the door! The key turns and then on the last click gets stuck. My fingers are red raw trying to open the door and I literally can't get in, however hard I try. Each time I have had to wake my husband up to let me in. Thank goodness he has been home every time. The strange thing is that this is not happening during the day. I am very disappointed as I loved it so much at the beginning.
