"Beware of Dohop – Unethical Refund Practices and Poor Customer Service"
I booked a flight through Dohop and requested a refund due to my transit time increasing from 1hr to 7hr.
After speaking with the airline, I confirmed that the agency is responsible for issuing my refund. Despite this, Dohop has refused to honor the refund policy, providing no support or resolution.
Customer service was unhelpful and evasive, leaving me frustrated and feeling deceived. If you value your time and money, I strongly recommend booking directly with airlines or more reputable agencies.

"No response or payment "
I had my claim confirmed on 10 October, with a request for account details, which I provided.
Since then, nearly three weeks have gone by and I’ve received nothing. I have emailed repeatedly asking when I can expect payment and have had no reply or acknowledgment of any kind.
UPDATE: Despite Dohop telling me I would receive payment within 30 working days, I have still received nothing - now 2 months since making my claim. I get responses asking me to be ‘patient’ while they ‘investigate’. Investigate what? It was a simple flight delay, which they’ve already acknowledged.
Dohop managed to take payment of my premium instantly but now, two months after the incident, are still wriggling and delaying and refusing to tell me when I will be paid, or even what the issue is.

"Disappointed with service and lack of contact"
We missed our connecting flight at Gatwick because of bad weather. I had purchased the ConnectSure service which should cover us in this situation. I spent more than 20 minutes on hold to Dohop, then decided to try their online chat. I was told my issue was being transferred to a 'human agent' and someone would get back to me. No one did. I tried their What'sApp and again was told a human agent would get back to me, but no one did.
I phoned again and spent more than 30 minutes on hold, but couldn't get through. I also tried requesting their call back service, SMS and email.
In the end we had to arrange our own onward travel.
I am baffled as to how, over a period of two and a half hours, none of my attempts to contact them were successful.
To top it all off, I've emailed twice to complain and have not received a response.
From reading other reviews, it sounds like they generally do a good job, but when it goes wrong, it really goes wrong.

"It took 4 months to get refund"
My original contact was July 13 2024 for overbooked flight,and missing of a connecting flight.
They replied July 17 2024.
I received my refund October 17 2024.
