"Poor quality, not reccomended"
Had the hand gun for less than a 2 years, shot it only hand full of times, the pistol started jamming on me and is miss firing, the trigger is getting stuck. Was told to send it in but there will be a Charge for the repairs. Not happy with the purchase, would not recommend, also the gun when it works is not very accurate, the bullets go in different direction each time you shoot.

"Extremely happy with Sam who helped me…"
Extremely happy with Sam who helped me through her advice and getting my purchase into the system. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. I feel very comfortable with my purchase, the advice I got to all my questions, and the time she spent with me to complete the purchase. Great experience!

"I know nothing abt fire arms so i was…"
I know nothing abt fire arms so i was very fortunate to speak w/Maria. She was full of information & knowledge! Most of all, she was so patient no matter how many (probably) dumb questions that i asked and how many times i probably repeated the same questions. After our conversation, i came away knowing exactly what i wanted to purchase whereas before i was completely clueless. I am in her debt & very grateful. She deserves a raise or an extra wk of pd vaca or both:)
Also, i spoke w/Maria more than once. After speaking w/her the first time & as a day or so went by, i had more ?s & when i clld bck, I got Maria again! Unlucky for her hving to put up w/me again but very lucky for me!!:)

"Maria was extremely helpful"
Maria was extremely helpful. I found I was doing so many things wrong. I had a wrong understanding of which projectiles I was to use for what, and why. Why some can be stored in a magazine for quick use when needed. I thought wrongly after reading instructions that no projectiles can be stored in a magazine and I wondered how I could ever possibly be ready in an instant when needed. Oiling issues, help with setting up my warranty. I did not have a purchase order number on my receipt. She sent videos of how to fold my target tent (unfortunately I still need the videos she sent since my Linux operating system did not show the videos just the words and a blank where the video should have been. I have replied to make sure I do get access to the videos anyway. Still needing to learn how to fold my target tent back into the circular bag it came in. She helped with so much that I felt I had sooo much more understanding, clarity, and ability to use my new bryna SD so much easier. She was SO helpful. Thank you for giving such wonderful help! The phone assistance cleared up misconceptions about videos and directions and Maria was perfect for what I needed.

"Poor seals on CO2 cylinders. Defect."
The Bryna company advertises home security and safety. The literature does NOT disclose a serious weakness. The CO2 cylinders are a weak point. I used the Bryna for wild animal control. And fired a few times. When I was surprised by wild animals the Bryna would not discharge. I "discovered" that the CO2 cylinders DO NOT SEAT WELL, and the seal allows the CO2 to leak within (per Bryna 24 to 48 hours). This renders the "technology" worthless for home defense. In order to have a "useable" deterrent for home protection you MUST NOT have a punctured cylinder in the product. When I reported the problem, I received weak excuses including that if one "stores" punctured cylinders in the product you must keep the entire product pressurized.
Those of us familiar with CO2 powered products understand that seals protect the integrity of system. BE WARNED OF THIS PRODUCTS DEFECIENCY for the protection of your family.
I have been asked to edit the review after reading the Byrna reply.
The equivocation and evasion of the ISSUE is obvious to any reader. Rather than blame the user and assume a lack of understanding, it would have been HONEST to address the issue. The Byrna seals are a problem for a successive use on the same cylinder.
What Byrna advocates in their lame reply is a procedure calling for disposal of a cylinder after a single shot is fired. EXAMPLKE to aid Byrna in understanding: Assume a "user" fires a shot at preditory animals on Friday night. But Saturday morning the coyotes come back...Per Byrna, the "user" must replace the cylinder after a single shot. Its not a double trigger pull issue. Its a bad seal. The user can double pull to pierce the "new required" cylinder. And solve the seal defect....or Byrna can fix the defect and advertise HONESTLY. Remember I asked about the longevity of the cylinders BEFORE purchase and what I was told was FALSE.
