"$600 gone - just like that"

Saw them in the local mall and approached to ask about the deals they were running as I was planning a staff function. Have the say - sales person was excellent (besides speaking a little too fast) and the deal sounded way too good to be true! So I asked - how many paintballs do I need to buy per person? He said, as many or as little as you want!
I spend $600 on tickets. Next thing I go to book and they tell me I have to spend at least $40 per person on the paintballs! I explain that I asked the guy who sold me the tickets how many I would have to buy but the person on the food just kept telling me "sorry, this is how many you have to buy". Then he went on to say "I cant comment on what he told you, I was not there, but this is how much you have to pay". I started getting angry as I told him - I only bought the tickets BECAUSE I was told I could buy however many balls I would like. Eventually I asked him to put me on to his supervisor. They put me on hold, and after several minutes of being on hold I hung up as I had a meeting to go to. I send a query through their website 5 days ago and still havent hear back.
DO NOT RECOMMEND! The right thing to do here would have been to offer me my money back since your sales person provided me with inaccurate facts. I would NEVER have bought it if I knew of this cost! At least respond to your queries...

"An unfortunate encounter"

I was at a shopping mall and was about to leave when I walked up to a guy called Tom and I was planning to ask him directions and mentally I planned that if he was going to sell me anything, I would politely decline.

First off, he said that he was selling these silver class tickets and that because he wanted to go home, he was offering me a better deal by upgrading me to gold class and including more tickets for me. We had a long chat about my university course and my friends and kept persuading me to through various forms of flattery but I was trying to remind myself that I was not going to buy them. Somehow, he glosses over the important details quickly and he gets me to write my details without me even knowing and making me pay $180 for paintball tickets which I had absolutely no use for.

It wasn't until I got back to the carpark after completely forgetting where I parked my car and feeling disoriented and taking almost 30 minutes to find my car did I realise that I just bought these useless paintball tickets and the more I read about it, the more concerned I was about how useless these tickets were.

I feel like I've just been hypnotised and they got into my brain and made me buy these tickets even though I was so adamant at first that I wouldn't buy them. Like I had no control over myself and my actions.

Immediately as soon as I got home, I went on and tried to fill out the authorisation form for the 10 day cooling period and realised that as soon as I fill them out on my phone that I had to print the form out and send it along with the vouchers. But since I entered the tracking numbers into the forms once, I can't enter them again on my computer. I didn't even realise that the guy had filled out tracking numbers and can't recollect at what happened and how they got all my details.

Anyways, I went to the post office and opted to get it sent for Express Post and send them off.

Now I hope they just refund me the money that I paid for it but I realised that they would charge an outrageous 6% handling fee and a refund administration fee.

A google search returns a lot of results about this company with good reviews but if you dive deeper past the first few results you'll find that it was indeed just one big scan and that many people have fell victim to these sleazy salesmen.

"Student friendly"

Student friendly! best time ever! went as a group of 8, bought ten tickets for £60 a while back and found them in my draw around the time of my 19th birthday, they were still valid, even after the paintballs, when you consider the cost per person it wasn't bad at, we spent as much as we wanted to on paintballs, in the end it was cheaper than a 1 hour go kart session. would definitely recommend to and students and teenagers!

"Excellent 10th birthday party - Edinburgh"

My son had an amazing party a few weeks ago. 17, 10 year old boys at the site outside Edinburgh. The booking was very efficient and straightforward,super accommodating to me chopping and adding numbers. The boys loved the different game zones. The marshals were excellent with briefings and safety paramount. We ordered the pizzas which were super tasty. They arrived a bit late but the boys were delighted as they managed to get another game in! We didn’t stay until 4 as I thought it was too long a day for 10 year olds but the boys were all disappointed to leave. We took snacks, hand warmers and hot chocolate with us which was useful. The boys didn’t seem cold just my husband and I who weren’t running around! Great day - we will be back!

My son had a fabuloous birthday party at the Crawley centre. the team accommodated a special request, a late arrival, a group of boys easily.
I went from dread (outdoors, guns, mud... etc) to delight very fast.. fab job!!

We had a great day out. Staff amazing and extremely helpful and friendly.
We had 4 children and 1 adult playing and they had a great time. Safety was paramount which put our minds at rest. The games were well organised and things ran like clockwork.

I organised this event for a stag that I work with at the Southampton site. Fantastic day out, staff were great fun and really accommodating. They took safety as a really high priority which is why i have already re-booked for my sons 10th birthday. The games are really well thought out and the facilities are perfect for this type of event.
I would highly recommend this company for a while host of events as they cater for all ages.
Can't wait for the next game.

"Great day for all"

I took my kids and a few friends for the day at the cramlington site and had the best day together for ages. We were looking forward to the day for a long time and we’re not dissapointed. The staff were excellent, the games were really good fun and the day was eventful from start to finish. I would recommend this site and company to anyone thinking of having a day out paintballing. We can’t wait for our next outing. The staff at this site are a credit to the company, thoroughly professional.

My son and I came along with two of his friends and their dads. We had purchased a book of 10 tickets from an IPG stand in Bluewater. I am normally very wary of these sorts of things, but the sales guy was very enthusiastic and honest about what we were buying and the terms and conditions of the free paintballs etc...

My son and his friends are only 11 and were all very nervous. The friendly staff put their mind at rest and they all ended up having a brilliant time. At the end my son could not stop talking about it and said to me that it was the best father/son bonding day ever!

We will be back!

I can see that most of the negative reviews are about the fact that the 1000 paint balls that are included in the special package are meant to be used on the last game of the day only. which is true but they do not hide that fact from you when buying the special package (perhaps I was lucky).

The guy that sold me the tickets was perfectly clear on the subject, and if you read the print on the folder that you get when buying the tickets, that issue is covered on one of the bullet points.
Additionally, if you check the website ipgvip.com, the same statement can be found.

Now on to the actual experience, it is a whole day of activities form 9 AM until 4 PM and obviously you will run out of ammo eventually, so be conscious on how much paint-balls you spent between each match.

We where a group of ten people, we bought 2000 paint balls at the start of the day, so each one of us had 200 paint balls which was enough for about 3 matches (2 rounds each), and then we bought another set of 1000 paint balls right after lunch.

Before the last match, the organizers do make sure to let everybody know that it will be the last one, and advice to get everything ready for it, including the free 1000 paint balls from the special package.

On the day we went to the park, there were around 200 people participating. So there is a chance that you may face more experienced players, but that did not took the enjoyment of our own.

The field you play on is outdoors, so it can be hard to traverse on it, wear boots if you can.

At the end of the day we were pleased with the experience and definitely plan to come back some day.
