We bought our bespoke sofa for our sunken lounge area from James & Rose after a reccommmendation.

We could not be more happier with how it looks.

The service and communication from Dave, was excellent from start to finish. We visited the workshop in Preston, early on where we were welcomed and shown around and got to try the sofas and see the quality with our own eyes. The workmanship and set up they have there is very inpressive.

I must’ve exchanged a hundred emails with Dave over several months. He sent out numerous samples and gave advice on fabrics, design and measurements.

Our sofa was quite big, and needed to fit into a bespoke space built especially for it. Therefore we didn’t want any gaps down the side. To say it fits like a glove is an understatement - we would never have achieved this with a mass produced piece.

Thanks to Dave and everyone involved at James & Rose. You have something very special there and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone on the look out for a new sofa.

Great experience from start to finish. We ordered a bespoke sofa, made to a specific length for our large living room and a couple of matching chairs. The process from start to finish was seamless, we were shown around the workshop, which gave us ideas and those ideas were put into a quote very quickly. we accepted the quote and were really surprised how quickly the furniture was made, no waiting for months to get it delivered as happens with the big chains. We got a call within 3 weeks to arrange delivery. We are extremely pleased with the quality of the sofa and chairs and would happily recommend.

"We ordered a sofa for our new home"

We ordered a sofa for our new home. We chose a design they had then changed parts to suit our needs. (Made the seat and back higher changed the seat cushions). Nothing was too much trouble.
We could not be happier with the sofa. It was made and delivered within 6weeks with no issues at all. Very fast , easy , smooth service. The quality is second to none and exactly what we asked for. I will definitely be using them again and would highly recommend this local business rather than a national store.

"Brilliant service and support"

We got in touch with James & Rose after looking for ages for the perfect sofa. We wanted a U Shape to make the most of a room we were in the middle of renovating and converting into a comfy lounge / media room.
Being fairly local to their premises we took up the office of a visit to see their showroom and work shops. It was really comforting to see how the furniture was brought to life from the solid beech frames, the huge cutting room and the fabrication / final assembly.

They really listened to us and our needs and we poured over our room size and layout to come with up with a Norma Jean U shape sofa that would work for us and would sit well within the overall room.

Then we moved onto the options and wow there was many. Leather finish, wooden feet and buttons for the finishing touches and it felt like we were getting a truly unique to us sofa.

The Ottoman was next. This was not originally on our list but after seeing some in situ we opted to go with an ottoman that was a perfect fit into the U space but also easily movable to use as a footstool or extra seating.

Overall, our experience was brilliant. Our order was placed and a short time later the sofa arrived. The phone calls to arrange delivery at a time/date convenient for us was taken on board - we had to push back the proposed date to fit with our plans. The 2 guys that delivered and installed the sofa could not have been more helpful. They were very considerate of our home and took all the protective packaging away with them.

We will definitely be back to purchase again in the future.
