You always need to log-in (unlike square).

The external machine sometimes does not turn on or does not pair with iphone, and you need to contact the call centre for instructions on how to reboot the external machine, which is time consuming and embarrassing, especially, when you are in front of clients ready to pay.

You cannot create and email invoices (unlike square).

Deposits can take a few business days (unlike square, where the deposits are made into the bank account the very next business day).

Customer service could use some help. I called a few times when my machine wasn't working and failed to get a call back when I was told someone would contact me. They weren't overly friendly either.
Machine itself does the job ok. I find the battery runs out quickly so it's not as portable as it claims to be. But the price is right! No issues ever receiving payments.

System does not remembers the customers details & as such customer needs to enter all the information again for multiple visits.
Already discuss with representative & hopefully they will work on this option.

I love using Dream Payments. The ability to offer Interac has been a huge plus for my customers (the extremely reasonable fee for using Interac is a huge bonus).
Had a few issues with the app at the beginning but is running very smoothly for me now.
