Site is down a lot and has cost me a lot of debit sales. I had to use square as my back up so not to lose all sales. Not happy with that.

Great option for accepting payments while mobile. My only complaint so far is that the app forced an update in the middle of a show I was at, forcing me to use an alternate method.

First time user i found the application very user friendly however the app logs off after a short period of non use and then takes 5-10 minutes to get back on while the paying client is stamding there not very happy. The application should not log off unless you want it too.

Dream payment has been great for me.
Here are the issues to fix and add:
1) it does not keep it's charge for very long (had to buy a battery pack)
2) We need to have a feature were you can enter discounts on our items
3) we need a feature that allows us to bill the client if need be
4) need to be able to write a blob about wanranties, colours, ect....

App seems a little glitchy at times. Slow responses. The Bluetooth device from Telus is "ok". I have used it in a high volume environment and had to remove the battery at least 3 times in a week due to it locking up completely. Also had to restart the app several times due to it not processing transactions.
Overall the idea is excellent and is great for small businesses being able to take debit and credit using mobile but the experience needs to be more like Square where it just "works".
Some feedback:
It would be nice to be able to modify the receipt more so it would include the description of the products sold, and not just the product code. Square provides this and even allows for a web URL so when a receipt is sent electronically it can be clicked on for further information, etc.
Having a sign-on and a PIN code is cumbersome and when the app times out, having to log in again is frustrating, especially when working on large volumes of transactions.
The analysis tools on the website for sales are very limited. Would be nice to see the functions similar to the Square Dashboard app where you can analyze sales in many ways.
I switched from Square to Dream Payments for the ability to take debit and to be certified with the chip and pin technology but so far the experience is lacking the same "ease" that square offers.

I have been using dream payments for close to a year and a half. There have been improvements with there being less 'down time' where the machines do not work during normal hours because there is nothing worse then trying to use the machine or app and it doesn't work especially when your customers are right in front of you. I had to have my machine sent back at one point as it just stopped working. It was frustrating that the tech guy who work overnight did not know that the code that came up on my machine meant it was never going to work again and needed it replaced (hopefully this has changed since then). I am quite upset that dream payments will not allow me to change the business to which I use the machine for. I originally bought it to use for my massage business but I do not use it for massage anymore I use it for my jewelry business and they refuse to change it telling me I need to order another 100$ machine and open a new account, it was like jumping through hoops to get my first account with them to begin with as I have a fraud alert under my name to make sure it is really me opening accounts. I paid for the machine I should be able to change what business I use it for, I have never come across any other company that runs this way. It is ridiculous especially because I did pay for the machine the account is under my name and I should have 100% control over which business is used on the machine at any given time. I basically tell all my customers sorry it will say its from this massage place not from the jewelry business when they look at receipts or check their bills ... super frustrating and makes me look unprofessional. There should also be an icon that pops up far in advance to let me know the machine needs an update, like when I sign into the app rather then when I am trying to put a customer payment through, again something that makes me look unprofessional when it is the technology and how it is set up in an inefficient way.

So far I am very happy with the unit. My only complaint would be that it takes to long sometimes to get payment. Square is much quicker.
