I never get to the point that the transaction is not approved for no reason or connection between my cellular device and the portable terminal isn't good. Just in case I have a second option ( keeping square ready for American Express credit card users )
Also looks like square is cheaper for some credit cards .

My customers love the option to use debit and when it works it is great. Had a few issues with the machine not accepting Credit Cards and during a busy time this can be a difficult time to trouble shoot. Payments can be sporadic so would appreciate longer times between loggouts due to inactivity. The time to sign back in and link my phone and machine or troubleshoot has cost me a few sales. The option to split payments would be great as well as customizing sales reports as I sometimes need to recall totals for certain days.
Overall, happy with having the option to offer customers choice of payments. Great job.

The processing service has been down for days at a time.

It auto-logs me out regularly requiring a complex password retype that employees don't always have handy.

The app design is downright terrible.

But on the upside, it does do the debit processing we require via iPad.

I have been using it for a year already but i decided to stop using it after i lost money. What happened was recently it is always having problem processing payment. It take so long processing and then it will say not completed. at first i dont get any problem woth customers with it and we just redo the payment process but for my last customer i encountered we argued because the machine says approved but in the application it says not completed. I cant argue back because the customer is already in doubt that im trying to steal his money by paying twice and the machine doesnt look legit because it is not the same machine like common big machine and not printing receipt. The machine is actually good but i dont want to lose money anymore.

I've been using my Dream Payments for almost a year and a half now and it works great. I switched from a popular mobile POS because Dream accepts Interac and it has been well received. Customer Service is very patient and helpful (but fortunately I haven't had to speak to them much). My only pain points are: #1: Sometimes the app says the reader needs an update (not cool in the middle of a transaction), but when I go to update the reader it just needed to be reconnected.
#2: The app needs a % or $ discount option so I don't have to enter the item manually.
