"Fabulous sofas"

Just taken delivery of two Arlo and Jacob sofas delivered by their own team who were friendly and obliging. The sofas look fantastic and are exactly as ordered, they are extremely comfortable and well made.

"High maintenance for minimal comfort"

Beautiful sofas with awful cushion fillings. Feels great in the showroom and feels great on day one of delivery, but despite the constant back-breaking effort of daily cushion plumping, the feather & foam cushion already feels wafer thin after less than 3 months of use. You can definitely feel the wood frame underneath, even just 30 minutes after freshly plumping the cushions. The 'Henry' has one long cushion, which is comfy in theory but twice as heavy and requires two people to plump it every single day - which over the course of a sofa's lifespan is a lot of wasted time and energy considering the comfort never lasts more than 30 minutes. Definitely needs more feathers and a foam insert that's twice as thick and twice as dense, especially considering the price of the sofa.

"Yet another good experience with Arlo…"

Yet another good experience with Arlo and Jacob store in Guildford . This is our third sofa ( as we were so pleased with the other two) and it arrived just in time for Christmas. I also wanted to purchase some fabric to be able to trim a Roman blind and Adam was excellent in sorting this for me and the cherry on the cake was an impeccable delivery service from Simon and his colleague. Thank you A&J

"I’m writing this review because I wish…"

I’m writing this review because I wish I could have seen how the Agatha sofa would look 3-4 years down the line before spending £2600 (or wasting, rather). Daily plumping of the cushions causes the cushions to lose so many feathers that you are left with flat cushions which are so uncomfortable that it feels like you’re sitting on a plank of wood. It looks terrible too. Very disappointed with the quality of this product. Customer service advised that only a year guarantee is offered and I am able to repair for £299. Not sure if I can provide pictures of how ugly it now looks on here but it has become quite the eye sore. I hope this helps someone who is considering an Arlo & Jacob sofa in the future, you don’t expect a £2600 sofa to only last 3 years! Off to the tip she goes.

Great customer service in store at Solihull where we started our journey - Thank you Sarah!
All very smooth from there. We ordered mere days before the book closed for Christmas delivery and we received our beautiful Ferdinand corner sofa on 20 December.
Regular updates and instructions via email from Olivia and great communication on the day.
The 2 guys that delivered and built were fabulous. The care taken to make sure the cushions were all the right way round to ensure the grain of the fabric was all in the same direction along with removing a tiny feather was just fabulous!
We have been loving sitting and lying on our sofa ever since.
I work in a customer service focused company so I recognise great service and the importance of saying thanks via Trust Pilot :)
