"What a waste!!!!"
This review is not aimed at an individual Schuh outlet but the company. A month ago I purchased a pair of boots. Within two weeks the sole & upper separated. Replacement received but today I had to return them again for the same reason. As I watched the sales assistant input the return, I noticed a specific reason for "sole & upper separation" - Is this a common problem I wonder??
This time they were out
of stock completely so they couldn't replace. I asked if they would pay for a repair. Apparently not their policy!! They would rather make a full refund than pay for a repair - how ridiculous in
these days of re-use & recycle!!!

Awful, rude, ignorant staff.
Went to The Meadowhall Branch, will never go again. Staff rude, obviously not interested in customer service or experience and downright rude. I was disgusted and shocked to be honest.

"Awful shop"
Found a pair of shoes that was advertised at 31 pounds (for my niece). We asked to try them on, they fitted perfect, niece was over moon so we bought. When we tapped card it was £45. The shop asisstant just shrugged shoulders and said that although it was exactly the same shoe, model, size as we had picked out - the one he gave is had a different article number and that article number show was more expensive. Rude & also possibly not legal (he didn’t even tell us when he brought out, we only noticed after we blipped card that price was different from advertisef) . This was the Wood Green branch - and the 2nd pair of shoes I bought in that shop week befor Xmas. I will not go back!

You sent 2 wrong shoes for my order! It was an 18th birthday present which I then could not give him! Your colleague stated a return would take at least 3 days. Because of your mistake my godson is left with no present and there seemed to be no understanding of the impact of that. Extremely disappointed and will not shop with you again

I ordered a pair of size 6 New Balance. Schuh sent me a size 5. The trainers are now out of stock. Schuh unable to give me the trainers I paid for. I Schuh offered me a 15% discount against a future purchase for my hassles. Not nearly good enough.

"Helpful and Understanding staff and manager"
Went to to the Basingstoke store to try and find a new pair of vans for my partner.
The store was immaculate and the staff acknowledged me almost immediately.
The store manager, Becky, helped me sift through the overwhelming number of options and colours available. Her input and understanding of what I was after very much assisted me in narrowing down what I wanted to get.
Once I check what colours we already have, I will be back for a pair or two. Becky was fantastic and it's easy to see why she's managing the store.

"What a scam"
What a scam, ordered a pair of Dr Martens for xmas pressant on the 20/12/23, went for next day delivery, web site saying will receive before xmas, so had them sent to UPS pick up point, friday came, got email from UPS saying delivery 28/12/23, phoned Schuh said what happened to next day, according to them UPS pick up points does not include next day delivery, where was that on the web site, what a con, said they could not do anything already posted, make things worse pick up point is now closed until the 2/1/24, been phoning UPS but got no where yet, what a farse.

"called to find out where my purchase…"
called to find out where my purchase was (my fault as I didn't put the house number) got Hannah who was fantastic and called the parcel force and confirmed it was out for delivery. I also had a call from the service team who had spotted my error to update so brilliant service!! I did get a txt to provide feedback but it wouldn't let me so google this instead.

"Appalling service"
Ordered a pair of converse which I returned via Evri pick up my phone was scanned as proof .Schuh customer service appalling they have asked four times for my tracking number which I have emailed with a screenshot but they just keep asking for the same information.
So no shoes and no refund appalling service.
