"I bought a pair of boots for £170"

I bought a pair of boots for £170. I wore them one day and they were so painful. The elastic is so tight it squeezed my ankles i feel that my circulation was being cut off and hurting my toes. Feel like wearing clogs.. No comfort what so ever. Not worth £170.. I tried returning them for a credit note and told i can not return them and keep wearing them until the elastic loosens. So advised to experience pain for £170.. Disgraceful.

"UPS meant no delivery"

Bought through Klarna so didn't have an issue with the refund but they use UPS who needed a signature. Tried to change the delivery date and the website didn't work so they went off to the local centre, no card left. Couldn't get it redelivered as the website was still broken, phoned them up and there was a looping call centre so they ended up being sent back. Got my refund but never even saw the shoes and won't buy again as I'll have the same issue. Why not use a company that's website works?! Very disappointing as they were going to be Xmas gifts so I'll have to buy elsewhere.

Bought shoes in August sent them back in October as they were faulty. Refund has been processed according to Schuh!! Refund is not in my bank account. Last time i buy from them 😡

I bought my shoes 9 days ago and they still haven't arrived, missing the promised delivery date.

I cannot contact anyone, customer service is an automated bot, with no updates, and no information..

Are my shoes going to be delivered? Have they been lost? Did they disappear into another dimension?? So many questions and no way to get an answer.

"Ordered a pair of converse paid 4.99…"

Ordered a pair of converse paid 4.99 for next day delivery and 6 days later I am still waiting on my delivery to come. Not impressed with this service and I don't think I will ever buy from this store ever again ill spend my money somewhere else.

"Quick to take £££, slow to refund it"

I chose a pair of boots from Schuh; the purchase transaction and delivery were very quick. Quality of the leather boots was shocking, really bad. I followed the returns procedure, returning via Evri. Was told to wait 2 weeks for refund, after one week I received a Schuh giftcard for £2.50 less than I had spent, and it was only redeemable for their products. Phoned to complain (waiting ages for call to be answered), pointed out the relevant legislation and received apology and refund directly into my bank account. Would absolutely never again buy from this company.

"Awful customer service, dismissive of quality issues"

I would give 0 stars. Tried to exchange a pair of Hunter wellies with a manufacturing fault/quality issue on the inner label. I went to the Bristol Cribbs Causeway store and spoke to George who was confrontational and aggressive numerous times. I sent the shoes back to head office for inspection, to be told that there was no quality issue and the problem was from ‘abrasion’. All this despite Hunter informing me that they were sorry I had encountered this ‘fault’. Schuh don’t want to take responsibility for manufacturing faults.

"Unbelievably bad!!"

There’s no words to describe how bad the customer service team is! There’s clearly no communication between different staff in the team; different people say and do different things. Staff keep making you feel you’re on the wrong!
My order wasn’t delivered. One day I receive 2 emails - one claiming that they tried to deliver my order (a lie; I was home the whole time and no one tried!) and a second to say the order had been taken to an UPS depo. Hi called customer services and explained I couldn’t go to the depo and asked for the order to be resent to my address. Was assured this would happen within 1-2 business days. After 4 days of no delivery I reached out again. First was told the order had been delivered to me already; then was told the order had been cancelled and I had been refunded for it. Received the refund. Two weeks later the order showed up at my door. As I was no longer interested in such a messy order and had received the refund for it, I told customer services about the unexpected delivery. Was then threaten that if I didn’t send the shoes immediately back to them within 7 days they would put a debt collecting company after me for the money!! How is this possible? How can they threaten a customer and make them feel they ‘re on the wrong, when they’re the ones that absolutely messed up everything there was to mess with the order….?
