"Purchased 2 pairs of leather converse"

Purchased 2 pairs of leather converse, both significantly less quality than previous pairs. Ive worn converse for years bought all over the world without issue...well till the unfortunate purchase. I feel both fake. Worn both no more than 6 times, heel worn, soft soles, sole pattern is off. I did contact shuh without much help. I feel that someone’s sent back and not been checked before being resold. So will never buy from this company. Since purchased elsewhere and surprisingly no issues. Be careful & check everything.

"Actual joke"

Ordered in store and advised next day delivery due to them being out of stock. Ok great THINK AGAIN. Received a txt to say my trainers had been delivered to my neighbour as I wasn’t in. I was in! Contacted my neighbour who had not received any package. Contacted schuh who advised they would look in to it and email me. No email so contacted them again. My parcel had been delivered to the wrong address could I go and get it myself. If this is the service they provide where you have to go to a random address to get your parcel that they are meant to deliver then there is something seriously wrong with your trading standards.
Communication has been terrible. Do they care NO. They have my money and I have no goods. I do believe they are breaking the law and wavering the consumers rights to their own profit. This has still not been resolved.

"Poor service"

Ordered myself a couple of pair of shoes along with a Christmas gift. My shoes arrived in a seperate package without the pair to be gifted. Spoke with Schuh via live chat and they explained it was being delivered seperately the following day, ok...
Next day I get an email from Schuh confirming my item has been returned to them and I've been refunded. I go back on the live chat asking why my item has been returned! They put all of the blame on the courier saying it wasn't 'handled properly' but they also can't offer next day delivery on those shoes if I were to re-order now, but they could offer it on other styles?! (How does that make a difference, if you can ship one next day surely you can ship any of them?!) So they now can't get the shoes to me before Christmas - told them not to bother and ordered elsewhere but because of the delays caused by Schuh had to pay extra for shipping to ensure they arrive before Christmas!

Not the usual good service I've had from Schuh in the past, will certainly think twice before ordering from them again - service is clearly going downhill. Very poor.

"Absolute Pathetic Company"

Ordered the trainers for next day delivery. Never arrived of course which is par for the course. These were for my granddaughters birthday. Contacted Schuh help dept (think it’s manned by Ronald McDonald) the usual response, give me 48hrs to investigate, blah, blah,blah. Sent email to complaints dept, who wanted our full address again even though it was on the initial order. Blames the courier (Hermes) which I will give on a separate review. Waited since Friday, 5 days now and still getting the usual flannel from their customer service team but still no shoes!!!!!! but THEY have taken my money from my bank account. Stated they are going to refund my delivery payment. Never again, will I ever, ever order from this company. I should have read previous reviews on this forum which warns buyers how inefficient they really are. Be aware buyers, stay well clear and find a reliable company, because this bunch are hopeless. I will keep you all updated when this matter is finally resolved. I sent another email this morning, 13th Dec, correct you guessed right, give me 48hrs to respond!!!!!!! Schuh are completely useless throughout this whole debacle. 14th Dec Update, absolutely nothing from Schuh except they have contacted another courier to see if they can deliver. Won’t believe until the item arrives. 15th Dec, been informed that the item has STILL not been collected by the NEW courier. Useless company through and through, as previous stated stay well clear of Schuh, they don’t deserve any trade whatsoever. No wonder they have a 48% BAD review on trust pilot. I challenge SCHUH to disprove any of my statements, I shall reiterate again, SCHUH are hopeless through and through.

I bought two pairs of shoes for my daughters and both are comfy and of good quality. They love them.

"What is "used* anyway?"

Bought my wife a pair of shoes. She tried them and they didn't fit - I returned them (which is a rigmarole as they don't accept returns through their website, or by going to a post office...). I clearly marked them used. A week later, they were couriered back to me, at my own expense, with a letter stating basically "because these are used, we're not accepting them as returns, sorry about that, here they are, at your own expense". Why bother with a "used" condition to tick? Why charge me courier rates for something I clearly couldn't use? Why can't I use the post office to return something like practically every other company, forcing me to find a random shop that accepts their courier label? How are you supposed to try a pair of shoes on, without trying them on? What exactly is "used" in their estimation? Genuinely a bafflingly terrible service in a time when buying online from nearly anywhere else is pretty simple. There are other vendors out there, there are other shoes, Schuh are just not worth the effort.
