I was in the hospital in Spain for 9 days in March/April 2023. I kept careful notes of all receipts related to the additional expenses that were incurred because of my hospital stay. Of the over $2000 in expenses you only reimbursed about $250 - if that. I disputed this and was told that someone would look at my expenses. I never heard from you again. The date below is incorrect because I'm not allowed to go back until the date of the incident.

Generally ok, but refused to pay for accomodation after being discharged from a major operation and while waiting for a flight home. Will pay for a bed in ICU but not a bed at a hotel... Crazy... They say it isnt covered in the policy but the cant point to where it says it isnt covered. The policy wording implies it is covered.
Check your policy before assuming anything!

I was very disappointed in AXA in their processing of my claim. I was on a road trip back East when my husband was admitted into the hospital for an emergency appendectomy. I parked my car at Nashville airport and flew home for 10 days. When I returned back to Nashville to pick up my car and continue on my trip, AXA refused to pay the parking or return airfare. Very unfair. Not a company I would use again.
