"Only Assisted After Hospital Threatened Legal Action"
AXA was not able to assist when I went into the hospital abroad. When I left, I contacted AXA several times and was assured they would follow up with the hospital regarding my bill. Months later, I discovered that the bill had not been paid and the hospital was threatening legal action against me. I believe this bill has been paid, but at this point I do not trust AXA at all. As a college instructor, I have advised our university to consider a different service because our students have also had issues and I can't imagine them navigating what I went through.

"The claim process was easy and…"
The claim process was easy and straightforward. I had saved all the documents I needed, and received my appropriate reimbursement within about 10 days from submission.
This was Compared to Air Canada, who lost my bags for FOUR days, and then required that I submit ORIGINAL documents from Portugal to their office in Canada within 30 days of the incident! We were staying in Europe for 60 days, and I had no intention of sending them my only originals, in case they went missing! I waited until I got home and filed with AXA and am very pleased.

Unfortunately we had to cancel our order for a Samsung refrigerator with an extended warranty. AXA promptly notified us that the cost of the warranty would be refunded through USPS within a week.

"Worth the Wait"
Due to an interruption in travel beyond my control, I needed to utilize the insurance while recently on vacation. Rebooking while out of town was easy and clearly understood as was explained by the AXA agent, however, filing the claim and waiting on the process was longer than I anticipated, or wanted, it to be. They required additional paperwork from the airlines which was difficult to secure, however, once received, the claim was approved and processed. Insurance overall was inexpensive, gave me a piece of mind while away (especially needing to utilize it this time), the customer service staff was friendly and helpful, and at the end of the process, my claim was approved. I am waiting on reimbursement check now which I was told could be anywhere from 7-30 days. Good insurance, great coverage, not great with reimbursement time (it's aleady been two months since the submission). Even at that, I would recommend them and plan to use them for future travel.

As a disabled person this company help me a lot. During my last trip to Europe, I was in need of dental work.I provide all the documents and the costumer service help guide to get all the information needed. The were specifically kind to me .I am again in Europe and zI feel more safe knowing that this company has my back
