"Polite customer service with a educated…"

Polite customer service with a educated person, who was clearly an American national that answered my question immediately. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to accomplish what I wanted during the call - to extend my travel policy another month. I had to get a new policy with another carrier. Thus, I can't recommend AXA for travel insurance for the long-term traveler.

Technicians coordinating travel were excellent, understanding the flight was very long, the board I was laying on for the entire flight was very uncomfortable and somewhat became painful after a while.

"The process of accepting and finally…"

The process of accepting and finally paying what I have insured myself for was excruciating!!! Hours of phone calls, hours on hold, negative response as “ we don’t cover…) were the norm.
At times two people in the same department did not have the same answer!!!
When the right people took over, months later, everything moved smoothly.
The bills were ALL paid!! Large and small!
Better training is needed to avoid the same problems.
