Really easy hire and responsive customer service. I was looking for a hybrid rental in central Aberdeen and this option was so convenient and competitively priced. Will use again.

I have been a member for about a year since we got rid of our second car. I don't use it very often but the low monthly fee means I can still remain a member for when I need it. The car has been available on all but one occasion when I wanted to book it. There was also no problem cancelling my booking when I was unwell. I like driving the car and it has recently been replaced with a new one which is great. The only thing that would make it better would be to have a car parked nearer to my home.

"What happens when things go wrong"

When the locking mechanism failed on our Co-wheels car, late at night, we were unable to drive home to Oxford from Stratford on Avon. Hannah, from the call centre, was also unable to unlock the car remotely, so she arranged for roadside assistance as matter of priority given the time of night. We waited a little under the standard waiting time of 90 minutes. Unfortunately, the mechanic couldn't force entry, so Hannah advised us to take a taxi home and that Co-wheels would refund the fare on presentation of the taxi receipt. The following day, Gareth, from customer care, dealt with my email promptly and generously. I've been using Co-wheels since 2017 and this is the first time I've been seriously inconvenienced. It's worth noting that in the event of significant breakdown or malfunction, the company policy is for the driver to wait for roadside assistance.

Every time I have had to contacts CoWheels they have been absolutely brilliant. Do you remember when customer service was actually that rather than huge queues and excuses? CoWheels are fantastic. Their staff are problem solvers.

Fantastic customer service. The system is very reliable but on the rare occasion I run into difficulties the support team are friendly and fast to sort it out.

Should of done my research. Stay well away from this company. We have one of their cars right outside our property so it felt like a no brainer to sign up.

My experience has been awful, cars with hair trimmings on the seat, arriving at a booking and there is no car, missing fuel cards leaving you to pay for fuel then get charged again for the miles you have done and leaving numerous messages and getting zero communication back from the company.

After doing a bit of digging on
companies house and LinkedIn this company doesn't look in good shape. Don't make the same mistake I did and give you money away to this cowboy operation. I will be reporting to trading standards!

My partner uses Co Wheels semi-regularly as we only have one car, but I used it for the first time when our car unexpectedly ended up in the garage. I was impressed by how easy it was, and that there were a few cars within walking distance of us. It meant I was still able to visit my grandmother (no public transport options), collect shopping and run other errands. Definitely recommend, I'll be using them more often.
