"The van I rented didn't work"
VThe van I rented didn't work. I'd taken time off on Friday pm from work to use it. The van was not charged, and had no charge card. Co wheels still took the money from my credit card, even though I called in the issue at the time (which has been corrected since I complained). Co-wheels 'best offer' of £20 credit is derisory. Could have got a van elsewhere for same price.
Almost forgot to mention I was offered £20 compensation to shut up! Which I think is total sh@te.

"I think yesterday was probably one of…"
I think yesterday was probably one of the worst days and customer experiences I have , standing in the pouring rain trying to work out how to make the charge ti the car work whilst being told that if it did not charge I would be fined and telling me that I had to call the operator , no numbers were given until i called back ,then as my phoning was dying i managed to speak to a really nice operator from glasgow council or somewhere who helped me try and get the charging unit working , by this time I was in tears , having been trying to sort this problem out for an hour , my booking finished at 9 am , i could not leave the car , the car would not lock , i missed a meeting .. if you can't provide back up for electric cars you should not hire them out , It was an awful experience and I have now found another car club to join

Searched up that you would accept 6 points on licence only to have my application rejected, complete waste of my time

"Glasgow - Co-Wheels"
I don't know what has happened as of recently but i can no longer in good faith recommend Co-Wheels in Glasgow.
Vehicles being left in poor condition by previous users, vehicles not being where they are stated and being led on a 30-40 minute hunt to find them. This happens regularly and has been happening consistently since the new year.
Stay clear and avoid, not worth it.

Good selection of cars and reasonable service. App and web platform are a little buggy

"What they don't tell you."
Going from bad to worse, this company. In Dec 2018 they gave me £20 credit for referring a friend. Nowhere did they see fit to mention that this credit expires, apparently.I'd emailed them (at the time) asking them to confirm when they added the money and they replied just saying 'That's on your account now'. No T+Cs, no extra info like 'This expires on x date' Just out to trick you, really. What makes me really despair is that Co-Wheels and Nextbike (both in Glasgow) are supposed to be 'the future' of better planet-saving transport options and yet the customer service of both of them is awful. At time of writing i've just had Amy reply to me and totally misread what i even said to her in my email. Well done everyone.

Another rubbish scammy joke, they pick money from your account immediately, never give you the card for renting the cars but the monthly charges comes on time, another horrible way to steal money from people without been commited any kind of service and everything works bad being very expensive.

"International licenses not accepted"
They don't allow you to join if you are international. I have held a Kenyan license for over 10 years and an American one for 4 years. Because of political ties, my two licenses are not eligible for exchange in the UK. Hence I had to take the full UK test - which i passed first time. However, because this looks like i just got my licence less than 12 months ago. They are refusing to insure me or allow me to have a membership (i'm just glad the cost was £1 and not £25). How is it fair that you don't take into account my many years of experience and the fact that i've owned a car and had car insurance for many years; of which I have never had an accident.
I am going to ZipCar which are way better, allow one-way hire in central london. Their cars are just as good as well. The only reason i was interested in Co-wheels is because they had cars walking distance from my home. But i'd rather be with a company who takes into account my entire driving history and also has customer service agents who view applications wholistically.

"Innovative and convenient"
I've used different cars for more than a year in Glasgow. Customer service has been always very helpful. When a booked car is not available they contacted me, well in advance, and offered me alternatives. On one occasion, I got trapped in traffic, and they contacted the next customer to help me. Cars well kept.
