"Brilliant and reliable alternative to owning a car"

I cannot recommend Co-wheels enough. It is a fantastic option to owning your own car. We use it for short trips and to go to the big supermarkets in the outskirts of the city and it’s just a brilliant, reliable service.

Disappointed today to find the car in a filthy state, obviously not cleaned for a long period of time. Love the idea of car sharing and will continue to use the service but pls pay attention to the quality offered. Also worrying if cars are less checked than before for maintenance??

"Consistently excellent customer service"

This service has been a life-saver for me and enabled me to carry out my job as a key-worker in the NHS.

Positives for me include the fact that you don't have to be 25 like most other car hire firms, the excellent customer service (always very responsive even when I've had issues out of hours), generally good quality and clean vehicles and the provided hire card is an easy system to use. The overnight hire discount is ideal for me as I mostly work night shifts.

Some potential improvements could be an NHS discount on bookings (they had one in the first lockdown which was much appreciated, maybe could do one if proof that it's to get to/from an NHS shift?), and wider adoption of electric vehicles. There's a few in my city but they're a bit further away from my house and I'd love to see an all-green fleet in the next year or so. The smallest of the vehicles they use (Toyota Aygo) I also found a bit difficult to drive, not a very forgiving clutch so maybe a different vehicle could be considered there. Also, a vehicle tracker when making a booking would be really useful as sometimes people don't park them in the right place and it can be quite difficult to find them without ringing customer service (though as I say, they're very helpful if you do need to ring them).

Overall a really good service and I'd recommend it to anyone.

Somehow the Co-wheels Car Club have trained each and every one of their staff that I've worked with over the last five years how to be consistently friendly, helpful, responsive, understanding and conveying the feel that this really is 'my car club'.

I could not recommend any more. If you don’t have your own car this will help you out so much! The car that I use every time is only a few minutes away from where I live! And driving automatic is just a big plus ☺️

Have used co-wheels for 8 months now, firstly in Aberdeen but have now moved out to Aberdeenshire. Can't fault them: great cars, great customer service, each and every time. Am so thankful that there are cars in the smaller town I've moved to. This is the way of the future, such a great service, hope more people join so it can grow. Can recommend highly.
