"What’s the point of this service."
We live 30 miles away from the nearest city so having this option was great but unfortunately a complete and utter waste of time.
The first time we joined and booked, it was cancelled without warning. The second time it was barely charged and only just made it to the destination. The third barely charged. It had been used just an hour before we booked and so left us with very little to get to our destination. We were doing 20mph just to reserve the charge. On the way to returning it, it broke down. They expected us to wait till 2am in the morning for a repair van. The fourth time it was charged but broke down to collecting because it hadn’t been fixed from the last time!!!!!!!!
Really poor onboarding, customer service and car is a pile of crap!!!! Additionally if we’ve had an experience like this (and it is baad!!!!) and the user asks for a refund, DON’T SAY we’ll look into it. Give us our bloody money back because you’ve provided an awful service.

"Excellent service from Co Wheels"
I've been using Co Wheels for 8 months and the service has been excellent. I live in a city and my neighborhood alone has 3 different cars, all within 5-10 minutes walk from where I live. So far I've driven 4 different cars which have all been excellent, most recently a brand new electric MG4 which is fantastic to drive. Being a car club, there are occasions when a car I wish to book is not available, but there usually is another one close by. It's very cost effective as I do not need to use a car more than once or twice a week, sometimes not at all for weeks. The cheapest cars are the electric ones. The customer service is great too, and any problems are dealt with promptly.

"I've asked you so many times to stop…"
I've asked you so many times to stop trying to take my money but you're still doing it every day. I never signed up. I don't owe you anything. Leave me alone PLEASE.
This review is for co wheels! They're trying to say I'm leaving this review for the wrong company...i am not. This is for cowheels. The car hire company. They are a nightmare. They have tried taking 19.99 from me every day for weeks and I've said I don't want to be a member. The police are involved now as its harassing me

"I recently joined Co Wheels"
I recently joined Co Wheels. For a small like Lewes, there are several locations with a good choice of cars ( but no vans) and to date their service has been excellent. I shall be flying to Glasgow soon and was happy to discover so many locations in that city are available. Good work Co Wheels.

"They really care"
I have been a member for years now and honestly the best car club there is. I was stuck in a bit of bother with my booking but as soon as i called up and explained myself, I was relived as they took the time to really listen and care to my needs. Thank you Co-Wheels! You're amazing.

"Second time I hired the car and I had a…"
Second time I hired the car and I had a non fault flat tyre on the way home from Cheltenham. The pick up and return to bay was pretty seemless, and they arranged for a taxi for me to get home. Very positive and better than if I had to do it myself.

"Great customer service"
First time using Co-wheels and I was quite surprised at how it all works. The card on the reader is a great way of accessing cars and even though I called through multiple times, the staff were so helpful every time I had a query. They even helped me when I had an emergency and had to extend my hire, all within a quick response time. Thanks Co-Wheels!

"Short overview of the service and how I used Co-Wheels"
I used co-wheels for about a year. I also have experience with one of their competitors, which I won't name here. I can say that prices for rental by the hour and per mile driven are more competitive. There is an adequate selection of vehicles. Most of the fleet is MGs , but there are also Toyotas for those longer out of the city journeys. Conveniently, you can also rent out a minivan with Co-Wheels. Many of the vehicles are located in the city center, which is convenient for somebody like myself, who lives in the center of a big English city. Nevertheless, one can find cars located in the suburbs too. The advantage of car sharing vs rentals is that you can rent the car at any time during the day or night and, given the car is available, for several days at a time. With rentals, you need to adhere to opening and closing hours and most companies won't let you return during the weekend, so you have to keep a car for an entire weekend, even if you don't need it. You don't have such restrictions with co-wheels. Renting is managed entirely through their app. In the rare cases you have queries, you can phone technical support, who are very helpful and available at any time (I think).
Further with regards to costs, there is a daily price cap and most vehicles won't cost more than 60 pounds, at the time of writing, for a full day. You pay for fuel by using a credit card that is held within the car. The vehicle key is also in the glovebox and the co-wheels cars can be accessed by tapping a plastic card that they will send you after you register with them.
I hope the above is a thorough enough explanation of how the service works. There is nothing complicated and you should give it a go if you are someone who drives occasionally and needs a car for just a few days each month. I've had a great experience renting for long weekends and going on vacation in the countryside and also on a few occasions, traveling to the main office of my company to meet colleagues.

"Didnt honor offer"
Updated. Received a call after post, they will now honour it and have credited the £5. Not brilliantly dealt with by Kristian.
Changed review from zero (1) star to 4.
I set this up for my father which took a while as we live 60 miles apart with credit card verification, documents needed etc.
They offered extra 10% if you bought a gift voucher.
They didn't honor this after buying the £50 voucher. First they said offer had been withdrawn, I said it's still on your website so have to honour it and then they came back and said we took too long and they refused to give the extra £5 to my pensioner father.

"Please come back to Norfolk"
Massively missed in Norwich and the Norfolk Car Club has fallen apart since Co-Wheels left in spring 2022 - BRING THEM BACK - so much better than enterprise
