Always a pleasure to rent with this company! 4 years and counting.
They have one of the best and nicest customer service teams I've ever had the pleasure to deal with. Besides that, they provide a 24hr contact line in case something happens during your booking.
Very easy to rent a car, for the time you need it and the prices are reasonable. They also have quite a lot of vehicles available at many many locations in the UK.

"Dangerous cars"

Hired a car that had multiple serious warning lights showing. Was asked "is it making any noises", and if not it is fine to drive! This is not the first safety concern I have had with the cars, as I have previously refused to drive one, and another broke down which the breakdown person had concerns over the maintenance of it. The company clearly does not care about the cars. I was told after the breakdown that only a cleaner checks the cars once a fortnight - completely inexcusable for a car that is hired by the hour by many different people.

"Easily the worst car service club"

Easily the worst car service club I have ever dealt with .

I have used them for 6-8 mont consistently and I have had many issues .
At times the car was filthy , other times I would make a booking and be waiting for the car only to get a wall ten minutes into the booing that someone else and the car and I owed receive it , delayed parking tickets , and the list godson .

The final straw was when I hired a car and upon trying to unlock the car , it wouldn’t unlock . I then called them and I was on the phone for 15 minutes and then I was told to wait by the car for 3 hours which I couldn’t do as I had a flight to check l I then chased and followed up with them for over a mont wit no replies only to be told my account was irrevocably terminated even though the person on the pone told me it would all be resolved in 24 hours .

"Disappointing service"

Disappointing service. I have only just joined co-wheels through a recommendation from a friend. I have the need to hire their van most weeks so was looking forward to using it. Unfortunately I am not off to a good start. My friend referred me and we were meant to both get a £20 credit. It said there was an option online to mention the referrer - there wasn’t. So I put in the reference field my friends membership number. This did nothing. I then email Co-wheels explained this. I heard nothing. I then we on their instant chat to let them know. They did not reply. Leaving this review as I’ve given them a chance. I was really excited to use their service but this really leaves a sour taste with me.

I have always been given great help from the customer support team. When i got stranded after accidentally allowing the booking laps, they patiently supported me until i got back on the roads again.

"Doesn't deserve an even single star"

. I created and account on 27 November and I tried to book the car for 27-28 I received and email saying need verification. So verification come after 3 days. So 3 days later then my booking ,despite that they still took £85 from my bank account on 1 December. How is that possible? I did not book the car I didn't use the car for 1 December but still took money. I need it for 27 28 November. So it was not available on that time due to verification then you can not take money from my account for 1 December?I don't need the car 1 December. That is fraud.. I don't recommend any one about this horrible robber company.. if I did not book you can not charge me collisions damage fee or what ever. That should be done when first booking is confirmed.. most expensive membership. Never again. There is no contact number to speak. Only emergency number and email. I sent 4 emails no reply yet.

"I 'joined' over 5 weeks ago"

I 'joined' over 5 weeks ago, my account is still stuck in 'awaiting verification'. I've emailed three times to ask how long it will take, never even got a reply. If this is how bad they are with new customers, I dread to think what the actual service is like.

terribile service hired a car from them and was charged 750 pounds for no reason they say i damaged a car stay away from these scammers even though its cheaper than a normal rental you will end up payingway more

"Poor communication"

Bad registration process. More information about the eligibility for registration could be provided. My application was rejected but the rejection email was very short and the reason was unclear.
