"Excellent service …..so far"

I’ve hired a car in Durham twice. So far it’s been brilliant. Customer service team have been brilliant. I’ve made a mistake on a booking and they fixed it straight away. So far cars have always been available, clean and full of fuel. Only feed back I could give would be this.
The only cars available are Toyota Yaris. I’m 6’6 and 22 stone. I look like I’ve been buttered into it! It’s comfortable and it’s suited my need previously but given the lack of space, shoppings going to have to be done in stages. I’d happily pay more for more space. Other than that over the moon with Co Wheels.

Joining was painful and slow. They promise to reply within 48 hours to your emails. They don't explain how to get key information so many emails and 6 days later your account has still not been opened. Unbelievablely poor service. I'm going to see if trying to hire a car is just as difficult. Hopefully not but I'm not holding my breath. Dreadful organisation.

A few months ago I needed a van to move, for approximately 670 miles. They had a welcome offer, so it was a discounted journey after all, that's why I gave 2 stars, but the quality of the service was 1. Firstly, the Toyota Proace was really dirty inside, clearly hasn't been maintained for quite some time. Secondly, there wasn't any screenwash refilled in the van, potentially making it dangerous to drive in that weather condition I drove. On live chat I was reassured if I buy screenwash and top-up myself, I'd be reimbursed. That would be very kind, but I did not rent a van to maintain it, no offense. I was not offered any discount or any resolution after filing a complaint about this. Wish they could do better, the service itself would be a good idea..

I'm very new to this and have only used the service four times but so far I am really impressed. It's great having the freedom of a car without all the hassle and expense that goes with owning one.
I had drive to Portsmouth for my son's graduation recently on one of the hottest days of the year. I booked the car at a few days notice and we travelled in style in a lovely Toyota Corrolla with air conditioning.
When I have had to phone customer services the staff are always helpful and professional, even for daft questions (i.e. "how do I open the petrol cap"!!)
It is the best way to drive without owning your own car.

My husband found service and we were excited since we wanted a car to travel around Essex! The application was easy so we submitted all the requested Social security and Driving license details. For weeks we have been waiting, and we asked numerous times via their chat service which never has any agent available and prompted us to message with an automatic email saying they will respond to you within 48 hours! we waited numerous 48 hours and there is no respond nor reply to our questions????? we also checked if our driving license has any problem in DVLA and they seem fine. so can anyone tell me whether this company goes busted or just DO NOT bother to reply to any messages sent? I have to put one other otherwise i would strongly put MINUS 5 on this crap company!

I have been trying to book cars for weeks I wasn't aware that Salford council now has preferential treatment Had I known I would have cancelled my membership immediately.I consider this an insult Co Wheels have treated there members with utter contempt absolutely disgusting

Co-wheels usually works well for me but this is the second time (over a period of years admittedly) when I have found all three cars in Swindon unavailable for exactly the same period, presumably for cleaning or maintenance. It seems to me that you can't be cleaning all the cars at the same time so would it not be possible to stagger the times so that there was still the possibility of booking a car at the time I needed it?

A very efficient system. Everything went as planned and the car was good. I would recommend this as an alternative to car hire.

So easy and great value to use ,lovely to have access to a van for an hour or two. Just hope you are going to reinstate the second one in Norwich. Highly recommended. Customer service also 5 star.
