I have used Co-wheels for 5 years. They have a good system and on the odd occasions when there have been issues, Co-wheels have acted swiftly to rectify matters.

After being a loyal member for many years, it is with regret I have been forced to close my account.
I will try and find a cheaper alternative.
When I initially joined co wheels a few years ago the vehicles were much cheaper to rent, so it might be that as electric cars are a lot more expensive this has resulted in higher costs.
I will keep my membership card in the hope that the costs drop.

"This is a fantastic company"
This is a fantastic company. They are always so helpful and engaging. I have had nightmares where I have forgotten my card, or I am stuck in traffic and am not going to make it back it time, and they always fix the problem.

"We’d be lost without our Co-Wheels membership !"
We have been Co-Wheels members for a good few years since we stopped having two cars, but still occasionally needed a second car to transport kids to different rugby locations ! Sometime we go months without using a car but keeping our membership going means we have access to a car when we do need one - especially when our car has an unexpected trip to the garage for a week (as we have found this week) !
In fairness we are spoilt for choice with 3 cars within easy walking distance !
The vans are a brilliant addition and excellent value for money and so much more flexible to hiring a car for the day with one driver only.
I’m always recommending Co-Wheels to other friends like us who occasionally need a second car !
Support is always excellent and really quick and friendly responses to emails and calls.

"No reimbursement from Co Wheels"
Picked up car with little petrol. Came to petrol station late at night, filled up with own card because the card supplied would not work (not recognised at pump, no attendant present). Function on pump that provides VAT receipts out of order. All this told to Co Wheels, with pictures to prove it. They refuse to reimburse me. Not good. Attitude is just "computer says no." Last time I try to help.

Really great service, I’ve only been a member for a few months and have zero complaints.The staff are amazing any trouble I’ve had they’ve always resolved. One helpful guy is Freddie, he’s always there on the phone to answer any questions I have or any issues.

"Very poorly run"
Very poorly run. Co Wheels took a fine from my payment card for returning the car and parking it in the spot that I’d collected the car from! Unable to explain why apart from the council had issued a fine for that parking spot so they couldn’t change it - really disappointing to pass their error onto a long term customer - there are other car clubs that have reserved spaces for customers so recommend going elsewhere.

Not convenient for foreign drivers, there are several unavoidable process for paper work with unavoidable price, and it is not worth it to wait when it is needed in rush as well
