"The manager is confused and rude"

The manager is confused and rude! The whole product is disgraceful to the sellers!
Sue has no concept of customer service nor trying to understand what people are saying. Sge is confrontational and rude!
I said that they are incompetent because of issues that I had, I had a phone call saying that "I was bloody rude" It was nasty!
I was peed off that things hadn't been explained and that I hadn't had calls when promised, and I was peed off that the manager was racist with her comments about a lady taking calls!
Haart is certainly NOT like the old days!
I was told that if U wanted to revisit the properties to be polite and respectful. Customer service at its best...not!

"Do not go with Haart."

Do not go with Haart.
We signed up with Haart in February. We dealt with basically all of the Lincoln team. We encountered various mistakes from double bookings to blunt replies.

Christie comes round and does the sales pitch says they have loads of people on the books that would love to buy the place… takes the pictures and disappears. We needed new pictures taken because they took a photo of the wrong side of the apartment building. Very difficult to get them to come back out. Don’t bother calling or texting them because they won’t answer.

Don’t bother getting in contact with Sarah Hammond because she will be rude and blunt to you and not actually answer your questions until you prod her three times.

I asked Haart to do our viewings because I wanted to get the most out of selling costs (because they’re a lot). Firstly, none of them were available so I did them but what makes it even worse, when they did do the viewing, they, firstly, took them to the wrong building… and once in the building, they just stood in the hallway without saying a word. I then had to do the viewing anyway. I don’t think they got the memo that they’re meant to be selling the place.

Vicky Blore will email you and ask you if you want to use a ‘marketing tool’ they call price bracketing but what it means is dropping the price. This led to those viewing offering below the stated bracketing. Which was significantly less than the original advertised price.

Haart definitely work on quantity over quality. Terrible customer service and terrible attitudes.

When we did terminate our contract, they forgot to take the listing down despite mentioning it to them on the day. I rang up the day after telling them to take it down and i'd like email confirmation of this. I saw they took it down but haven’t received any confirmation.

"Haart have gone radio silent..."

I moved into my current rental flat in 2022.
I'm currently dealing with the Fleet branch who manage the property I'm staying in. At the start of my tenancy they were great and communicated effectively. After I settled in my rental property, it got to the point where all my maintenance requests were being ignored despite them being logged through the correct portal. These were serious issues as well - a window that doesn't close, constant leaks, part of the buildings exterior falling down, damp walls & ceilings, and I'm not being given 48hrs notice whenever anyone needs to access my flat (which is every month or so for the most bizarre reasons).

To say they've gone radio silent isn't exactly correct... they email me once a year to tell me rent is going up. I responded to their most recent email in June with all my concerns asking why maintenance issues were being ignored, and they haven't responded or acknowledged this.
Last week the council served me with an order to vacate the flat as it isn't safe to live in, and Haart STILL won't talk to me. I've started packing up my belongings, but I have no idea what's going on or where to go.

The communication from Haart Lincoln has been first class. From the moment Christie Spafford came to advise us on the sale to Mandy Butler keeping us informed of viewings and offers. This has been a great experience

"Poorly managed and lack of communication"

I have rented with Haart for the past 4 years in Hemel Hempstead, Kings Langley and Abbots Langley, Hertfordshire and had a very negative experience.

I am a reliable, good tenant and have always kept the properties I have lived in to a high standard, even going as far to improve them.

My main grievance is with the management team. Their lack of commutation after you have signed your tenancy contract is shocking. I am unable to get a hold of any member of staff and when contacting the sales agents, they offer no help whatsoever and revert you back to the management team.

My most recent experience was in my current property where on my move in date (which was signed and agreed by the landlord) I was refused entry into my new property by the cleaners stating that they were informed that I was not moving in until the week after. I provided proof of the tenancy agreement and email correspondence confirming the move in date only to be repeatedly told that I would not be allowed to enter the property by the cleaners. Having already packed up my belongings from my previous property, with them waiting outside in a moving van, I was unable to get through to anyone in the sales or management team, and had to call another Haart estate agent (Abbots Langley) to assist with the matter. Emily, the agent who I spoke with, was extremely helpful and I was grateful for her assistance that day. Having been informed by the agent the day before and the week leading up to my move in date, that I could move in at 10am, I was unable to gain access to the property until 4pm.

I have had to contact contractors myself to fix any issue in my properties, there have been several incidents including, being left 3 months without warm water and one more notable incident involving my living room door jamming shut. I was unable to open the door, leaving my 3 year old daughter on one side and myself on the other unable to open it. If I did not have the foresight to give my partner a spare key, and also bring my mobile into the living room with me, I dread to think what would have happened as at the time we lived on the 4th floor of a 6 floor building. I had already discussed the door with the agent prior to moving in and contacted the management team several times asking for the door to be fixed. I paid a contractor myself to shave the door and my only means of getting in touch with my landlord to report the incident was through the building manager of the property I lived in.

I email and leave voicemails only to be ignored and then left to continuously contact them until I have an answer.

Haart is only interested in speaking with you when it financially benefits them.

I would urge anyone to consider before renting with Haart in the Hemel Hempstead, Abbots Langley, Leavesden, Garston and Watford area, to do your homework and also point out that there are some good, decent honest agents in the area who are still willing to help.
