Dyson installed cavity wall insulation for us and it made a big difference, reducing our gas usage by almost 50% overnight.
The process went well, with the surveyor coming round, getting and accepting a quote, then the installation guys coming, then getting the warranty paperwork.
Would use again.

Cavity wall insulation treatment has been taking place this week where my mum lives in Wakefield. She has dementia and got upset with the noise and locked herself out. Michael looked after her and managed to contact me. He waited with her until I got there. He’s a credit to your company. Very kind and considerate. Your whole crew were very hard working in what is a tough job. I couldn’t do it and I wouldn’t want to. I hope they have a great weekend.

Two surveyors came out. Quite frankly, it looked like they were on speed. They were clearly trying to get a survey done as soon as was humanly possible. Minutes cost money after all. They offered no solutions and gave what may seem like perfectly reasonable solutions. However, I will let you decide. - apparently modern solar panels cannot cope with some winter shade, that my stone cladded walls did not contain a cavity and that internal insulation would leave me with a £5k re-plastering bill as they simply screw up the boards and leave it like that. They gave me friendly advice on buying insulation for my loft and ceiling though so all good, Like all of these council approved contractors, they seem hell bent on funnelling grants, blaming the government whenever the solution is not profitable (ie not easy) and often providing shonky workmanship. I didn't have any work done, but looking at the amount of 1 star ratings, I feel I had a lucky escape.

"Cavity wall extraction of rubble"
Dyson completed the extraction of rubble and old foam from our cavity walls prior to having new bead insulation installed. Lee and Leon turned up on time and worked hard throughout. They even returned the following day (which they hadn’t planned for) so that the job could be completed to a high standard. They kept us informed throughout the process and left all work areas clean and tidy. Would certainly recommend.

Dyson energy services are owned by CIGA .Cavity Insulation Guarantee Agency.
Or at least they take orders from CIGA .I know this because i asked for a cavity wall insulation extraction and Dysons tell me they will have to ask CIGA .I asked why and they said ,they may not let them do it and we dont want to lose work from them .So by this point you will know Dyson give you a Ciga Guarantee .My review on them is also on here .
Any way Dyson said when they hear back from Dyson they will call me .I asked if they were an independent company and they said yes .
I asked why do you need to ask CIGA then .Any how days later i chased things up and they said they havnt hear back yet .I asked what are you waiting for and they said if they are aloud to extract the insulation or not .
An hour later Dyson phoned me and said we have heared back from CIGA and we wont be doing the extraction .
Obviously CIGA THAT GIVE OUT GUARANTEES THAT ARE NOT WORTH THE PAPER THEY ARE WRITTEN ON HAVE SAID NOT TOO WORK ON MY HOME .
I thought Dyson was a well known good company .But it would seem they are not better than Ciga and all the other companies that destroy peoples homes just so they can line their pockets with your money and the governments money .Oh and Ciga will withdraw your GUARANTEE any time they wish .Thats the point when you have an issue with the insulation and they tell you they will look after you because you have a 25 year Guarantee .But actually do nothing .They will tell you they are on with the matter but NOT .So if you have a guarantee from Dyson energy services .take it too the toilet with you and save your toilet paper .Seriously i have recordings of the conversations the guarantee is worth less than your toilet paper and so is both companies words .
One more thing Holly the so called manager really needs to brush up on her people skills .

I have recordings and witnesses of our conversation. I never once spoke to you in any abusive way. That's is CIGA WORDS THAT YOU ARE USING BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT THEY CLAIM ALSO. MY REVIEW IS CORRECT. YOU DID ACT ON WHAT CIGA TOLD YOU TO DO and the 25year GUARANTEE IS NOT WORTH THE PAPER IT IS WRITTEN ON. AS I CAN ALSO PROVE THIS. I GOT MY GUARANTEE IN 2014. MY Guarantee should run out in 2039. But GIGA HAS WITHDRAWN IT MAKING IT INVALID. FOR NOT GOOD REASON. SO IF THEY CAN DO THAT TO ME AND I KNOW THEY HAVE DONE TO OTHERS. KINDA TELLS THE PUBLIC WHAT THE GUARANTEE IS WORTH. ESPECIALLY WITH A CIGA STAMP ON IT.
I HAVE NO REASON TO LIE ONLY MAKE THE PUBLIC AWARE OF SCAMS. I ASKED DYSON FOR WHY THEY WOULDN'T EXTRACT THE INSULATION IN WRITING THEY TOLD ME AT FIRST THEY WORD BUT HAD NO INTENTIONS THEN COME UP WITH THE EXCUSE I WAS ABUSIVE. MY RECORDINGS SAY OTHERWISE. New update on Dyson .
I dont have an argument with Dyson I am clearly letting the public know that CIGA pull all the strings .They asked CIGA if THEY can do the cavity wall extraction and they said no .I would of been a customer had THEY been an independent company and not had to ask permission .Holly i believe manageress of DYSON told me she was waiting on CIGA TO reply. TO SAY YES OR NO FOR THEM TO BE ALOUD TO DO THE EXTRACTION .AND THE REPLY WAS IN HER OWN WORDS
( THAT I HAVE RECIEVED A REPLY FROM CIGA AND WE WILL NOT BE DOING THE EXTRACTION).Kind off says it all .
Oh and as for the help DYSON claim to have tried to give me .I have never had any help from Dyson .Also in the past DYSON did provide me with a service with loft insulation and THEY obviously didnt do that right as another company had too top it up .But then that so called guarantee will not be valid also .Because CIGA PULL THE STRINGS AND WILL INVALIDATE ANY GUARANTEES AS AND WHEN THEY CHOOSE TOO .
PEOPLE IF YOU WANT A GUARANTEE THAT IS VALID AND WILL STAY VALID .WELL I DONT THING YOU NEED TO KNOW THE ANSWER TO THAT .

"If you want your home trashed by…"
If you want your home trashed by degenerates then this is the company for you. They literally smashed the corner of my roof off and rather than tell me what they'd done, they removed the roof tiles which they had smashed off and took them home in their van.
I contacted them, told Jason Clark what had happened and was told to send them an email which did along with photographs of the roof damage.
That was nearly a month ago and I've had no reply, the roof is still wide open like reactor 4 at Chenobyl in 1986.
They filled my home with glass fibre, left a tonne of broken bricks, old mortar, glass fibre tufts which they'd used to plug the holes, and thousands of polystyrene balls littering the garden and track next to my home.
They also disturbed some nesting chicks which I had asked them politely not to go near which resulted in the chicks dying because their parents left.
Then one of the muppets at their headquarters started phoning me every day at 07:30hrs and letting the phone ring off the hook so I've had to block them.
These creatures have no respect for you or your property, or the fact you have to actually live there once they've dropped their toxic bombs. The standard of work is appalling.
This company is appalling and honestly a mobile environmental disaster.

I just had a New Boiler fitted. Dyson was Excellent upon Excellent. Just like the previous time they replaced my aging Boiler.
(Believe me, at every turn, I know about the cowboys and utter trash out there)

Dyson are superb - the best of the best!
Reading through the other reviews I have no idea at all why there are not so great reviews... on further inspection it seems the underlying issues are due to the pandemic and I would say to take a pinch of salt with regards to those reviews.

"Waste of my time..is this a genuine business?"
Contacted Dyson in December 2021 where spoke to Dawn and completed application for Room in Loft Insulation for my disabled elderly mother and provided all necessary documentation to process application. I've been chasing for an update for over 2months via phone was told they'll call back with an update but never did also sent an email to Kate but also not received any response to date either 😕 I'm now concerned as they processed my mother's application with all her details.

"Poor installation. Numerous latent issues."
Installed a boiler for my elderly mother in January 2020. The initial installation was done with a O-ring/gasket missing, so it slowly leaked and cause water damage to the plaster and paint finishes on boths sides of the wall, plus the content of the cupboard.
Upon the annual service, the installation was very nearly condemned as the flue was missing a bracket and thus not fully supported and there is a gap in the rooftiles. This would have left my mother without heating or hot water in mid winter. In fairness to Dyson, they did deal with the bracket issue under the warranty, but there is still a gap in the roof tiles.
However, worst of all, in all of this, as my mother is hard of hearing, and the heating being off spring through autumn, we have not spotted an incredibly loud noise akin to a spincycle or moped ticking over, emanating from the system. We are informed this is due to the system not being 'balanced' on installation and we are now out of warranty by a matter of days.
