Searching for inexpensive tyres for a little used 12 year old Fiat Panda, still on its original tyres that had been an advisory on MOTs for perishing for the last 4 years. I needed to complete this task ASAP before next MOT and after checking local outlets I got the best price and quickest fitting time via RAC tyres

"Delays, denial, refusal to take responsibility"

One orders, because the site promises speedy delivery and fitting, only to receive an e-mail about delays, new date agreed a week later, I show up, the tyre machine is in service for days by then and RAC knew nothing about it. It is 2 weeks after having ordered and I still did not get the fitting and the tyre machine is down another few days... yay.

When I told them that this is rather unprofessional and they owe me some compensation for having wasted my time(cleared my day to go to the tyre shop early in the morning to be told there would be no fitting that day), they quoted from the wrong Terms And Conditions(the ASDA tyres one) about how none of the dates are binding, because this is just how little care is taken about whatever they are doing. This company(RAC/ASDA tyres) deserves no money from anyone. Move on, guys!

I booked an appointment for 11.30-12.30,next day I get a call that my appointment is changed because someone else has also booked the same appointment I was really disappointed because that was the only time that suited me but I was refused so i settled for 12.30-13.309

"Convenient"

Good web site experience, and very convenient service. Just beat a competitor company on price by a small margin for a cheap pair of tyres (which had a slightly higher set of performance marks too). Was able to find a good local fitter to help support local trade.

"No £50 Amazon voucher, buyer beware..."

On 060823 I spent £929 on 4 Bridgestone tyres under the £50 back in Amazon vouchers within 30 days. Tyres turned up on time and fitted at a local garage. However, no voucher. On 140923 I contacted enquiries@racshop and instantly had a reply from Kyle saying they would chase the company up and forward the voucher. No sign of the voucher and my follow up emails have been unanswered/ignored. Don't rely on getting any voucher. I'm left with little choice but to involve the credit card company because RAC customer service is useless.

Update 290923. Voucher sent through as soon as I go on social media. It should never have reached this stage.

Abbotsinch Tyres were very helpful, I am a 70yr old disabled female. They were very polite, respectful and spoke to you in a kind manner. They gave me a free cup of coffee while I was waiting for my car to be returned. All the staff were knowledgeable and answered my questions with ease. I will be using them again.
