"Awful experience - still awaiting refund"

Awful experience same as many others from now reading reviews . I placed an order online they took my money straight away but when I turned up at my appointment the garage had no knowledge of the order and couldn’t Fulfit it. I phoned multiple times to get my money back but on hold for over an hour twice only for the call to then be cancelled saying the office was shut despite it being way earlier than 5.30pm . I have also emailed with no response . I had to buy my tyres wise where but still waiting for my refund . This has been a terrible experience

"service from RAC tyres wasn't great"

Seem easy enough but once you paid you can only print a page with the reference number and not the summary of your order. The confirmation did not arrive until 5 days after the order (on the fitting day...35' after the appointment time). I tried to ring several times and after waiting 20/30' every time given up. Filled the form online and had no reply. The payment was taken immediately.
Had to call the garage directly to check if they had received the order from RAC which luckily they did.

"Go elsewhere they are awful"

This is the worst service I have ever had from any organisation in the World. I booked a tyre to be fitted on the 11/12/22. When I turned up at the fitting station the man on duty said I cant help you as I walked in the door. He said he had no fitters as they were sick or on holiday and said he probably wouldn't be able to fit the tyre any time this week. i have been holding on the line for over an hour when they said the average wait time is 9 mutinies. go elsewhere is my advice.

All booked 2 days before and no one rang or turned up to fit on the day.

Called customer services and was in the queue for an hour only to have them hang up on me before answering.

The Worst online purchase experience I ever had in my life!!!. I ordered 4 tyres and they only delivered 3 to the fitter and I can't get hold of them for the last 3 days!!! Nobody answers the phone line or emails. Please do not go anywhere this site.

"Avoid Avoid Avoid"

Paid for 4 new Bridgestone tyres (got a good price) and booked an 0930 slot at our local tyre fitter. Upon arrival we were told there's no time slots and it's first come first serve, we then had to wait for 3 hours before getting our car back. Unlike some on here, we eventually got our tyres, but I was unhappy with the inconvenience caused, so I called the customer service line to complain, but gave up after 40 mins of waiting on hold. So I sent an email instead, but never received a reply. It would appear then, that if you get a problem, and it looks like there's a good chance you will, then you'll have a hell of a time trying to get RAC to do anything about it, and who needs that hassle? Certainly not me, so I'll be avoiding RAC in the future and I urge you do the same.

"out of stock tyres"

Got contacted via Email that the tyres I want are no longer in stock and when given options to replace with other brands they never came back to me.
Also calling to get this canceled is a nightmare. I quit after 6 calls cause the call would disconnect after 17 to 30 min.

"Rubbish phone service"

Rubbish phone service. You will be on hold for an hour with no reply especially when it comes to refunds. I have cancelled an order on 26/11/22 the cancellation email said 1-2 days and so far 10 days and nothing from them.


In fact, rubbish service because even the phonee lines says waiting time is 10 or 15 minutes and you get 1 h to wait until you give up and nobody replies!


The last time I even try and use this service. Respected companies respect customers after sale and I have had the worst experience. If there was lower than a star I would give it with no hesitation.

"This is the first time I have used RAC - Excellent"

This is the first time I have used RAC Tyres and I was very impressed. The price was the by far the best I could find and the whole process was very straightforward. The fitting arrangements for the tyres were first class. I would not hesitate to use RAC Tyres again.

"Probably the worst service in the world"

I ordered 4 tyres, which did not turn up at the tyre centre. No-one called me and after 3 days still no tyres. I have spent a couple of hours on calls and sent emails and the calls never get answered (always a 7 min wait time) and no one has returned my emails
